His art was amazing....I wish he would draw more X-Men...

JIm has 8 kids!?
No wonder I'm still waiting for All Star Batman and Robin
"Calm down, call Batman." - Greg Capullo
8 kids. Now we know the real reason behind all the delays on his books for the last 20 years. He was shagging his wife all the time instead of drawing. Get off your wife and draw comics Jim! lol.
Not one question about Batman & Robin, Boy Wonder? I'm still holding out hope for more of the goddamn Batman! (I even have the first trade and it's missing an issue!)
Yeah, read some slightly differing opinions from Mr Claremont as to what it was like to work with Mr Lee. *shrug*
Seems like a classy guy...definitely miss him at Marvel.
Would have loved to have seen him do more Captain America and Black Widow. Those issues were among my favorite of his Uncanny run. The simple fact is Claremont/Lee or Claremont/Byrne did amazing work together regardless of how well they got along together. I actually thought they'd had a good relationship until years later. Sometimes behind-the-scenes stuff ruins the fun of comics. A lot of the really great runs in comics have come under stressful times with creators who didn't exactly see eye-to-eye on everything. Just read of all the drama that led of to the Dark Phoenix Saga...
Miss his Wolverine. One of the best besides Silvestri's. Nobody drew the women on the X-Men better (though Portacio's Storm was among the best Storm drawings ever). Jean Grey, Psylocke, Storm. They just don't make them like that much anymore...His costumes however are usually best only when drawn by him. He likes too much constrictive things by his DC designs (who would constrict their throats in uniform when they will have a hard enough time breathing in battle?). I don't know about anybody else but I get a bit of a claustraphobic feeling seeing his turtlenecked Superman, Aquaman. Not very practical or even good looking in my opinion and I love Jim Lee's art and have for years.
I'm guessing you're not fond of turtle necks in real-life, either. I'm not surprised that some dislike the aesthetic on comic book character uniforms but these are people are breathe underwater at crushing depths or dive into active volcanos. I don't think they'll find their costumes too restricts around their necks.
The interview was a rare opportunity for me to "see" Jim Lee just chatting about comics stuff. So, I liked it. I mean, we often know too much instead of too little, yet many of us were surprised that he has 8 kids.
Neat.

There's also a bunch of other stuff from the Con on that channel so check it out.
WHY does he have 8 kids tho...? Here in the Norse Countries, the only ones that have 8 kids are people that are very, very religious.
Is he a mormon or something??
What an odd question. I guess it's as culturally strange as his household is to you.
