You may not believe that it was as consistent a continuity as you'd prefer, but it was still--by definition--a continuity.
The Super-sons were one of my favorite reads as a kid.. It was such a bummer when they turned out to be computer programs.

Well we can agree to disagree, but won't I won't agree to disagree on is changing the defintion of words. The fact that the past was not consistent means it by definition was not a continuity.

You can take it up with all of the people--including folks like Roy Thomas--who were quite clear that it was a continuity. :)

On a different note, what comics do you read now?

Then you be happy to note in dc cannon they're both a simulation as well as a parraell Earth.

The Quality Comic Heroes there are 2 versions of them

The Ones that were published Originally by Quality Comics which is called Earth Quality because their runs last longer than WW2 and aren't having any adventures as the Freedom Fighters.

Then there are the Quality Comic characters who were retroactively added to Earth 2's roster of WW 2 Heroes a lot of these went over to Earth X the world where the Nazi's won WW2.

Both are considered continuity even though for some it wasn't an official statement made.

If he's not, he should try it. Maybe it'll calm him down a little.

Back issues are my mainstay currently until the real DCU is restored.

The reboot provided a great jumping off point for any fan of DC characters.

    1. So what's the real DCU...I'm still not clear what that refers to...

    2. So if you like DC as it is now you were never a fan of the characters?

You do know that telling people they aren't fans of something because you disagree with it is frowned upon around here right?
