    WEAPON/MARTIAL SKILL: Norma can always be seen with her trusty guitar "Lemmy" strapped over her shoulder. A replica of an old EC-100T that has been in her family for many generations. Despite that fact, it is still in perfect working condition thanks to many years of dedicated care, and repair. It has now been passed to Norma, who will now have the awesome duty to take care of it...and not to lose it. She also is a bit of a brawler who knows how to fight dirty, and some combinations. All thanks to some personal lessons by a close personal friend of her father.

    Lemmy's Appearance:

    PERSONAL SKILLS: She is a gifted musician who can play numerous other instruments besides the guitar. Among them are the piano, drums, sax, and is working on perfecting the gong. Norma is also well versed in mixing drinks, having "borrowed' her fathers "How To Be A Bartender" from time to time. But beware, her drinks are very powerful.

    CHARACTER HISTORY AND PERSONALITY: By all accounts Norma had a normal, and pretty comfortable childhood. Her parents owned a highly popular night club called "Bane". A place where many of Eden's rich and powerful people liked to congregate. It was also a place where many musical acts, both popular and up and coming would preform on a nightly basis. From those very performances, Norma found her love of music, and her desire to learn it. From the times sneaked into watch them, to the time when her parents gave her a family owned guitar, her desire to "Be one with the music" continued to grow. When she was old enough, her parents noticed that there daughter had considerable musical talent, and offered her a chance to preform. And, as the budding musician she was, she obviously jumped at the chance. While it would become a important moment in her life, it would be for a different reason.

    She didn't remember much from the performance, and some spots are hazy. What she dose remember is she started playing her guitar, going through her first song when her powers manifested. Midway through her song, she blacked out...and woke up to a demolished club. To her, it looked like a tornado smashed the place the pieces, and managed to rip the stage in two. When the authorities arrived and cleaned up the mess, the full extant of the damage was shown. The club was beyond repair, and numerous people where injured. No one was killed, but the resulting lawsuits that where surly to follow would more then likely destroy her parents finically. That was when representatives from Arcadia showed up, and offered Norma, and her parents a deal to good to pass up. The school would take in Norma, and help her control her parents and Arcadia would pay for all the damages, and find a new place for the club. With little else to do, they took the deal. Now, with her guitar over her shoulder, she is on her way to Arcadia.

    Norma's personality is one of a laid back party girl who likes to have a good time. She is also very liberal on certain topics that many would find risque, or would be down right offended by. However, she is also a very bright person who is never short on words or on opinions when a topic of interest strikes her fancy. As for confrontation...she has been known to get involved in a fight or two.

    Power 1:

    Wind Mosh: Depending on how she plays certain notes on her trusty guitar, she can generate several different types wind blades ranging from sort slashes to long ranged blades. However, her attacks can only go so far with the shortest being about ten feet, and the longest being about fifty. The same goes for damage output. The short the smaller the slashes, the greater the damage output is and vice versa.

    Power 2:

    Against The Wind: A defensive technique Norma busts out when she is in a jam. By quickly playing a fierce solo, she can create a power torrent of wind to surround her. Encompassing a ten foot radius around her that acts like a moving shield. It can only be sustained for about ten minuets, and when it drops, it will leave her in an exhausted state.

    Power 3:

    Jump!: By playing a light solo, Notma can creat a small torrent of air underneath her feet. This can allow her to levitate up to thirty feet, and for about five minutes. However, the time and distance decreases when she has to carry someone, or her power is exhausted.

    His main weapon, as such it holds special significance to him as he made it himself. The hilt of the blade is a shade of burgundy, and has the Kanji for 'darkness' inscribed on it.

    Appearance: 6'1", Dark Skinned (Golden-Brown), Golden eyes, Silver/White hair, with a scar running vertically down his right eye, as well as several scars on his upper and lower torso. 200 pounds (before bone density increase.)

    Character History: After losing his parents at a young age, he was brought up by his uncle, who raised him in relative seclusion, in Sector 8, which is where he learned how to shoot, and where his uncle taught him the basics of how to fight. When he was around the age of eight, they moved closer to the center of the sector, so that he could get a proper education. Having been raised in relative seclusion, and taught how to be entierly self-sufficent at a young age, he never really fit in anywhere and was never inclined to go out of his way for social interraction. He did however take a keen interest in schooling and went at his studies avidly, quickly advancing through the grades.

    Sometime during his studying he stumbled upon a tattered book called, "Hagakure" and it has influenced his thinking in some things. Though not to the point where he is blinded by honor. He will resort to sneaky tactics if a situation warrants it. He's an opportunist at heart.

    A few months after coming to the city with his uncle, he was enrolled in a martial arts class, and devoted the better part of his time to his studies and training. Over the course of years before his first 'emergence' he became proficient in studies, advancing to the higher levels, as well as winning a few sector-wide tournaments. At around the age of sixteen, he was chopping wood, for his uncle, and was daydreaming, and accidentally brought the ax down on his foot, this was when he found out about his enhancer status. He kept quite about it, but at the same time continued testing to see the extent of his power.

    A few months after turning eighteen, he was hit by a car. While he was unhurt, and largely unmoved, the person driving and the passengers were killed on impact. This troubled him greatly, and after being outed in such a dramatic fashion, his friends slowly started shunning him. He started putting more, and more effort into his training, to the near exclusion of all else, the only exception being school.

    A few days before leaving for Arcadia, he was at a local Dojo, training off away from the rest of the students there, when a group of people, came in and their 'leader' challenged him to a match. Never being one to turn someone down, but at the same time unwilling to participate, he accepted with the warning, "obviously you know what I can do. Please don't do anything stupid." The man didn't listen.

    The end result, one that was completely unexpected, and unwanted was another death. This time, a murder. Two days later, the letter for Arcadia came in the hands of two Paragons. After asking for a few hours to think on it, and a heated argument and subsequent falling out with his Uncle, the man who raised him. He left for Arcadia.

    Personality: He is a goal-oriented individual, and will always be thinking or planning around a goal or set of goals no matter what is happening. He is also not one to quit easily. He has trust issues, and tends to keep his plans to himself. Though he suffers from trust, and issues of an emotional sort. He is very good at setting his emotions aside. Burying them with sarcasm, and dry humor. He has a keen eye for tactics, and prefers to sit back to get a scope of something before making a move. Like in chess.

    Bio: A childhood friend of Norma's father, and one of biggest smugglers in all of Eden. He is the man responsible for getting her father access to much of the liquor he serves in his clubs, and at a discount rate. Norma first met him when she was about three, and she was terrified of him. Usually referring to him as "Mr.Masky", she would usually hide behind her parents every time he came around. But as time passed, and she got to know him...he became a uncle to her. Though, much to her parents dismay, he ended up teaching her about smuggling...and how to blind a guy with a wine opener among other things. Still, she considers him family...even though he hasn't been around in a while.

    Personality: Ivan can be either be a cold, ruthless, and down right scary human being to anyone who tries to step onto his turf. Or a very calm, intelligent, and friendly man to those he considers friends.

    Weapon Type/Martial Skill: It is not uncommon to find Ivan carrying an assortment of knives and clubs on his person. All of which he can use with deadly accuracy and with crippling swipes. That is not to say that he can't fend for himself unarmed. Ivan Isa former Junior Champion boxer, and adeptly skilled in Krav Maga.

    Misc: The mask he wears acts as a breathing apparatus, and voice box due to injuries suffered during an encounter with a Paragon officer.

    True Grit: Casimir's durability extends beyond the physical, giving him a tolerance to pain well above and beyond what even durable enhancers would call 'normal,' enabling him to endure all but the most severe injuries. He can also, if sufficently motivated, force his body to do things even if it is physically unable to do so, such as stand, or throw a punch when the bones and muscles are broken and torn.

    Blood Aegis: The opposite of his ability to increase his speed for short bursts, he can also slow down his blood flow allowing the blood to harden, effectively creating sub-dermal armor, increasing his overall level of durability. He can only use this for a short time however, as it requires a considerable amount of energy. At the moment he can maintain this state for five minutes, before he completely exhausts himself.

    Mineral Manipulation:

    Earth: 0 Points (Beginner)
    Casimir has developed the ability to manipulate the ground beneath his feet (as well as metal and metal deposits in the earth.) The range of this ability increases by 20 yards for every point in earth. The weight he can lift increases by one ton per point in strength.

    Stone/Steel Coffin:

    Earth: 5 Points
    Casimir encases a target in earth or metal and can increase the atmospheric pressure exerted on the material to either incapacitate or kill. The rate at which he can increase the pressure is 250 atmospheres of pressure (one atmosphere is about 14.7 PSI) per point in earth.

    Fire 5

    Blood of the Phoenix:

    Fire: 0 Points (Beginner)
    Casimir is immune to his own fire use, and manipulation. He can also absorb and convert small amounts of sunlight into energy, which can be stored and used as a substitute for food, or sleep. (Example: One hour of sunlight is the equivalent of one half hour of sleep, and four hours is one meal.)

    Thermal Regulation:

    Fire: 5 Points
    Casimir can increase his core temperature consciously by a rate of 300°F per point in fire, as well as superheat an object if he physically touches it. The heat of his fire based attacks can also be regulated.

    Leylines 25

    A gift from the Titan of Memory; Casimir’s tethering to the Leylines that weave themselves through the universe has given him the memories of everything they’ve been witness to. He can use this to track other Leyline users as well as learn the mysteries of the ancient world.


    Binding of Iapetus; Resonance of Souls

    Leyline: 5 Points
    “As every living thing is tied to the leylines, so it is with you, Casimir.”

    By projecting his ‘soul’ along the leylines, he can link it with that of another. As a result it- depending on their relationship- increases any shared abilities by 20-40% of their original. (Good relationship, ex. Max, Rivia, Skye - 40%. Eh, Relationship ex. Sloane, Cammy, Takeshi - 20%) As he becomes stronger in his manipulation of the leylines, so does the bonus of the link. For every point he receives in leylines, the bonus increases by 2%, up to a maximum of 20% for a total maximum increase of 60%.

    However due to the intimate nature of the link, each individuals ‘soul’ is completely exposed. As a result, they learn everything there is to know about the other person.

    Ether 35

    Teleportation:

    Casimir's understanding of the Ether allows him to slip in between the gaps of time and space, enabling him to teleport across distances. The distance he is able to teleport is five hundred feet per point in Ether, he can also carry one person for every five points in ether (starts at one, maximum of five). Note: Casimir can now teleport without having seen the place in question. He can now tell the difference between an occupied space, and an open area when focusing in on his destination, preventing a teleportation into a solid object.

    Master of Magnet:

    Casimir can now manipulate the electromagnetic spectrum, allowing him to create barriers, sense organic and robotic beings by their fields, and manipulate and enhance electrical currents. The barrier can be spread 5m from his person for every five points in Ether, and can negate incoming damage equal to that of his Ether score. His ability to sense the EM fields of organic and inorganic ‘life’ increases at 50m for every two points in Ether, and his ability to manipulate and amplify electrical currents is equal to his Ether score. Note: His ability to manipulate organic and robotic EM fields is limited to his stat point in Ether, he cannot, for instance, manipulate the EM field of a being with an Ether score higher than his own, or a durability score equal to or higher than his Ether score. His control over the EM spectrum also increases his electrical resistance by 20%

    Bio-electric Augmentation:

    Casimir has, though manipulation of his own bio-electric current increased the speed of his bio-electrical impulses, causing him to think, move and react much faster than normal. While this augmentation is 'permanent' and a major benefit to himself, it comes at a high cost; The increase in speed causes him to burn energy at a rate 2x higher than normal. This makes him partially dependent on his energy reserves, especially during combat, as extended use of his powers will cause him to burn out quickly. The increase is equal to his ether score, and is added to his speed. Note: His precision control still only increases by half of his speed (5). However the burn while in this state is 4x his normal.

    Unbound; The Gate of Truth:

    Matter cannot be created or destroyed, only molded. Re-purposed. Casimir's understanding allows him to change and alter the molecular structure of objects by mentally altering its atomic structure. With this understanding he can do things like; change the state of an object by converting it into one of the four states of matter (liquid, gas, solid, plasma), age metal to either rust it or return it to its original state, and change the air around himself or a target into another substance, such as converting oxygen to hydrogen, enabling him to cause explosions that do damage at the level of his combined Ether and Fire score. (20) The range at which he can mentally transmute an object is 30m for every point in Ether, and the amount of matter he can consciously manipulate is dependent on his score, one ton, for every one point. However the more weight to the item being transmuted, the more energy it requires and the quicker he tires out. In addition; at no point in time will he be able to manipulate living organic matter. He can for instance, manipulate wood.

    Ancient Tech 10

    Advanced Suit Interface:

    Casimir’s designed a helmet with an advanced interface, allowing for more options in the way of infiltration. The helmet allows him to link up wirelessly to computer databases, and display it on his helmets HUD. It also displays his vital signs and has a basic scanner. He’s also added two forearm blades made of Diamond and Hardened Steel.

    Combined Stats

    Diamond: 25 Points (Combined Total)

    A Girls Best Friend

    Casimir can convert stones into diamond. However with the amount of energy/heat and strength required, he can only do this will smaller stones (will increase with increases in stats). The color of the diamonds is based in part on his emotional state, though their default color is black. (However based on the amount of heat and pressure he uses, he can influence what the color will be.) The primary use of this is weaponry.

    Skeletons are Forever:

    Casimir has, through his earth and fire stats converted his skeletal structure into diamond by internalizing his use of A Girl’s Best Friend. This has increased his bones durability by his combined total, making them harder to break. The rest of his durability is unaffected by this change. This also has an added benefit. Due to diamonds low heat and electric conductivity, fire and electric attacks do 20% less damage than their original stat point.

    Character History & Personality: Maxana "Max" Lindström was born into a prestigious family in the year 983 RE. Her father, Josef Lindström, was a famous industrialist, having built his company, Lindcorp, from the ground up on the backbone of his Elemancer (earth and durability) abilities. His quick rise to success afforded him and his budding family a life of wealth and a home in Sector 1. Her mother, Norda, stayed at home and raised her and her sister, an Enhancer, to be proper ladies fit for high society.

    For the better part of thirteen years, Max enjoyed the good life that could only be bought with absurd riches. Her parents, more specifically her father, handled everything important, so she didn't have a care in the world. She was among the prettiest girls in school, so she was automatically popular in direct proportion to her beauty. It also helped that she had a delightful personality. Her grades were good, and her behavior that her mother spent the better part of her childhood molding earned her a good name with her instructors. She was the perfect little daughter, until she was fourteen.

    Her whole life changed when a holo-theater was rocked by a 5.0 earthquake. She, of course, was found at the epicenter and was arrested. Her father paid for the damages and immediately made provisions for her to attend Arcadia Academy, no questions asked. She begrudgingly acquiesced and after graduation, she was enrolled.

    Because she was raised in a privileged home, she is oblivious to the "struggles" of those from Sectors 2 - 13. She's a very friendly and cheerful young lady, and those who meet her find it easy to get along with her. If she does have one flaw, and she does, it's that she can be a bitch at times. Okay, okay, she does have a few more flaws. One of which is that she's a bit of a coward, preferring to defer all violence to her bodyguard, Ramilia Orikagi, rather than fight herself. Confrontations usually end with her either hiding behind Ramilia while she "resolves" the issue, or her running to wherever Ramilia is and then hiding behind her while she "resolves" the issue. Needless to say, that tactic as helped preserve her beauty and kept her out of trouble. If she can't find her, she's screwed, because she can't fight and honestly feels that it is unbecoming of a lady to resort to violence. No, she doesn't consider Ramilia to be a lady because of this.

Her father, Viktor, was a five time champion of the All Edan Open Sector Martial Arts Tournament: C-Class Enhancer Division, and her mother Marta, was a four time champion of the Women's C-Class Elemanti Division. After the retired from the tournament, the had four childred together and proceeded to mold them into their successors.

    This was somewhat easy for them, since life for them in Sector 5 was easier than the lower levels, but less stressful that the higher ones. Ramilia's life mostly consisted of schoolwork, training and sleep. Her friends were to be strictly those who shared her love of martial arts, thereby allowing her the necessary social interaction a girl her age desperately needed. Shortly after she graduated, she began competing in the same martial arts tournament her parents dominated. She found great success, winning the gold winner’s trophy six times in seven years.

    Ramilia’s dominance in women’s martial arts garnered her much fame and respect amongst masters the world over. Celebrity dojos from Sector 1 contacted her for promotional ads and sponsorships, which she promptly rejected. She intended on devoting the rest of her life towards honing and eventually perfecting her martial arts. She managed to do this for about a year, having taken a short hiatus from competing to live in seclusion, before she and her siblings were approached by Josef Lindström. He was impressed by their strength and skill and wished to hire them as bodyguards for his family. They agreed and Ramilia was assigned with protecting his oldest daughter and eventual heiress to his multibillion dollar company, Maxana. For the past five years, she's done just that, protecting Max from would-be muggers, obsessed boys, peasant bullies and others with such mean streaks.

    Ramila is a calm, level-headed woman, a result of her near lifelong habit of morning meditation. Unlike Max, who is completely oblivious to everything happening in the lower Sectors, Ramila grew up in 'poverty', and has experiences that her young employer cannot even dream of. Because of this, she has become sort of like a big sister figure to the young heiress, someone to teach her all the other aspects of life in Eden that don't involve Sector 1.

    1. Shattered Skies: As Ramilia begins to harness the power of Earth's Leylines, she develops an assortment of different powers. Her first abilities is simple flight, by concentrating on releasing her spirit from gravity's bonds. Her standard flight speed is equal to Speed. If she desires to, she can harness her Leyline power as an added boost. This is equal to Speed plus 45% Leyline.
    2. Broken Spirits: As her control over Leylines grows, so does her range of powers. Ramilia can now sense the latent life energy of all living things around her. This ability is passive by default and has a range of 300 ft per every five Leyline points. If she actively concentrates, then the range increases to 600 ft per every five Leyline points.
    3. Skybreaker's Fury: Her powers still growing, Ramilia can now harness her Leyline control in an offensive manner. She can now fire bolts of energy that deal damage equal up to 60% her Leyline stat. She can shape the energy bolts into any shapes she wishes.
    4. Instantaneous Transference: By aligning herself with her Leyline power, Ramilia can teleport great distances almost instantly. In a red burst of light, she can teleport, herself and anyone who is in joint contact with her, up to 500 ft per Leyline point, as long as it is to a place she has either seen before, has a clear mental picture of, or an energy signature she is familiar with is present at that place.
    5. Fractured Flesh: Ramilia can split her body into multiple copies. She can split into one form for every 20 Leyline points. The copies have her Enhancer stats, and their Leyline stat are equal to her Leyline stat divided by the number of copies. The copies have her powers and skill, but act independently of one another. The copies stay active for 5 minutes per Leyline point before being sucked back into the original.

    CHARACTER HISTORY & PERSONALITY: Born the third child to rather successful farmers Burt and Virginia St. Johns, Selma was their eldest daughter, having two older brothers and a younger sister, with her entire family consisting of 'enhancers'. As a result of being the daughter of 'enhancer' farmers, she grew up a tomboy, often rough housing with her brothers and her mostly guy friends when not helping work on the farm.

    This helped her develop a crude, yet effective fighting style that combined grappling, striking, choke holds, joint locks, and moves such as 'fish-hooking' and eye gouging, as well as using her superhuman strength to throw and slam opponents around like a ragdoll. Being raised on a farm had also allowed her to learn to wield a bolo machete through long hours of hard work about the farm and practicing swinging it around.

    She also proved to be a loyal, determined, and outgoing person, though she also had a habit of being ridiculously stubborn and sometimes quick-tempered. Though her quick tempered moments didn't bother her parents when she was around her incredibly durable family and friends, it became a concern when she started school with other, 'normal' people. Their fears were unfounded, since she proved herself capable of keeping her temper under control, at least when it came to violence. But her temper escaped in the form of insults and vulgarity when confronted by people deemed 'too weak' for her to fight physically.

    The blue energy that courses through Selma's body grants her the ability of flight, with her speed and skill flying being equal to her leyline abilities. This speed however does not extend to her running speed or reflexes, and she can only fly as fast as her body can withstand it.

    Ah'm Tha Baddest Gal Ya've Ever Seen!

    The blue energy light that she now wields gives her the ability to survive in environments beings can't normally. It allows her to breath underwater, traverse highly toxic or radioactive areas, and even survive in the vacuum of space. It also increases her resistance to heat and cold.

    Come One, Come All Put An' Up A Fight,

    Selma can use her leyline energy to generate blue light constructs. She is limited by her imagination and complexity of the object she's creating. Also, her constructs aren't indestructible, their durability equal to the level of her leyline power.

    I'll Pound Yer butt's With Mah Blue Light

    Selma can absorb energy around her into her body, which she can use to temporarily augment her physical stats and the durability/strength of her blue light constructs. She can also use the access energy to heal herself of physical wounds and cause regeneration, with the severity of the injury determining how much energy is required. However, if she absorbs too much energy, she risks the danger of severely injuring or even killing herself.

    WHEEEEE!

    Selma can use her blue energy to affect the emotions of others, such as calm incredible rage, soothe intense fear, and nullify great greed. It can also bolster the will and determination of those she considers allies, as well as relieve others of fatigue and pain.

    Kyra Ogawa was born middle class, the daughter of a martial artist father and a supportive mother. A daddy's girl from the start, she shared his passion for the Kyurashi style, taking pride and joy in their daily training regimen. Unlike most children, she never had any real doubt which general direction she wanted to take in life.

    Growing up was good. Training was rewarding, food was good, her parents were loving and supportive...studies were a necessary evil, but that was ok. All in all, things were progressing nice and smooth.

    Then she punched her training dummy through a wall. There was no two ways around it; she had abilities beyond the norm. The government called ones like her 'Enhancers'. Whatever it was, she'd have to learn to master it before she killed someone slapping them on the back. She'd have to join Arcadia, and see what they could do.

    Who knows, it could be an opportunity to better her art. If not, she'd make it one.

    Character traits:

    Kyra is 'blessed' with an abundance of fiery enthusiasm. She places great pride in her father's martial art philosphy and wants to raise Kyurashi's reputation throughout Eden. While she loves to laugh and have fun, her concentration and determination are 100% serious no matter what task she's undertaking. She has an optimistic, alive, can-do outlook, and a strong sense of loyalty to and involvement with those she cares for. Hardship and failure are inevitable, but as long as she can ignite her spirit, heart will keep her strong.

    Her wardrobe has a distinct lack of high heels or fancy dresses.
