Well, she is a walking bomb. Kind of hard to friends with someone who could destroy the city you happen to be in if she loses her temper.

Elewa quite likes her though, he's glad she's come out of her shell. He doesn't really agree with her politics but he appreciates her passion. He'd gladly take attacks for her.

At this point, Volkov is so popular that he could publicly declare his sock puppet to be responsible for all the evil things he did and everybody in Eden would believe him. :P

To be fair, it's not exactly going to be hard to do.

We're a group of superpowered teenagers, some with criminal histories, who are already wanted on the charge of blowing up the entire Paragorn Police force. After apparently disappearing for three months we have no returned, stronger than ever and are now making a spirited attempt to break into the largest prison in existence with the aim of breaking out all the supercriminals held inside. If that doesn't scare the populous of Eden then I don't know what will.

I do wonder vaguely how he explains Maxana, because I'm sure her father, one of the wealthiest persons in the city, doesn't believe that she's actually gone bad. It's more likely that he's implicated that Ramillia is a terrorist and used her position to take Max prisoner to be used as a bargaining chip to extort funds from him.

I mean, thinking aboutl all Volkov needs to do is just assassinate all of the leading members of the Paragorns he's got locked up in there before we can show them to the public and we have precisely dick in the way of stuff to clear our names.
