I've got my character concept, I know what I want to do with him. Ether and Leylines does not factor into that plan.

It won't have to. All Tabia is doing is opening up the branches in the stat-tree and granting you all access to said powers. Weather you take that access or not is up to you. You can leave them at 0 if that is your wish.

Yeah, this might be the start of the apparently obligatory part of all my RP characters that requires that I start to isolate them from the main quest and cast by having their views conflict with the main direction of the campaign.

Let's hope Elewa doesn't go the way of Oliver and just wander off, never to return except in Alternate Universe vignettes when I get bored or nostalgic.
