What Is Your Favourite Book?

Impossiable for me to name one book. I have to Broad taste in lit for that. I have like 10 books that are My all time favs. I Will mention a few of them i like more than all.

It's impossible for me to narrow it down to one book.

On pure enjoyment level, won't say anything bad about them:
I love Watership Down and Dandelion Wine.

Then you have books like As I Lay Dying, Pale Fire and Tropic Of Cancer and American Pastoral ect ect.

Have you read Something Wicked Comes this Way? I read recently and its easily My fav Bradbury and just missed out in this thread.

It's on abebooks.com for $14 used including shipping...albris have a few copies for under $20 as well. If it was available digitally, I'd buy that too.

It's hard to name one in particular, but I constantly re-read The Sherlock Holmes series and Dracula (Highly recommend the annotated versions by Les Klingler, they are a Joy!)

While all my friends were going nuts over Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, I was still living in 1895. :)

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. That book did more to shape the way I think than any other.

"It was a pleasure to burn." Easily my second favorite of all time. Had to buy a new copy recently, cause the old one's so worn and annotated it's unreadable. =0

Favorite book of all time? Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo, no doubt. First read it when I was in elementary school, and every year or so I read it again. The Harry Potter series (especially Goblet of Fire) are up there, along with anything by Shelley (Percy, not Mary), Austen, and Doyle.

It's short, but Of Mice and Men has been a favourite of mine since I was young. In addition that, Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, Dracula by Bram Stoker and because of that one, Anno Dracula by Kim Newman.
