I hope an audience member flat out asks if ASM 700 is the final issue, and if a new ASM 1 is coming as part of the Marvel NOW launch.
A resounding 'Heck no!' from the panel means no. Any kind of hedging answer or a redirect or a 'We can't talk about that' or 'Wait and see' means yes.
I believe all that needs to be said has been. So here’s my two cents.”-- ScottMC, inadvertently summing up the Internet.
Interesting that Alpha's indentity will be known, any word on his confirmed powers?
was just over at the crawlspace and on there it saids that after 700 he said he's going into hiding for Marvel now? new number 1? is he off the title?
pull list:
Amazing Spider-man, New Avengers, Fantastic Four, The Incredible Hulk, Action Comics, and Batman
If you could reintroduce a character, who would it be? Slott declines to answer, saying, "We're going to spoil stuff, because we are bringing people back,"
This one's for you, Kingsley fans
He means that after what he's does to Spider-Man in #700, he has to go into hiding from all the attention that's gonna come his way.
At least we know hes not going to bring Gwen back
More development of supporting characters like Black Cat and Madame Web? "The future doesn't look good for Madame Web," Slott says. "All I'm going to say."
More fuel for you "Peter gets Madame Web powers" crackpot theory folk.
I was really hoping to have more information about the Spider Man/Elektra/Wolverine project. Like what the format will be or if it is even going to be released this year? I miss my Elektra.![]()

Is the Panel over?
I'm beginning to think that Hell is a comic book forum.

Well, considering how Arune Singh stated that Spider-Man was a part of Marvel NOW! but didn't go into specifics, I'd say the odds of Amazing Spider-Man getting re-issued #1 after issue #700 just went up.
Sure seems that way, don't it?
And thus I'm still sticking to my guns that Peter Parker retire from being Spider-Man and passes the mantle onto someone else--most likely Alpha--in issue #700, which probably would mean that, if accurate, the last page will be that of the new Spidey wearing the new costume as shown in the Marvel NOW! teaser. He means that after what he's does to Spider-Man in #700, he has to go into hiding from all the attention that's gonna come his way.
