Wait... You're sort of upset because he does not have the helmet with the mask yet seem okay if they'd end up neglecting the whole look?
I much rather the presented look than nothing at all. Star-Lord looks pretty bad ass.

Im saying that i dont know why he doesnt have the helmet on if he is going to be wearing the mask, he is one step from being comic book accurate and if it's not done i would find it strange.

Buy films being films, heroes end up a lot of the time without the masks on so if this is the path they take, which is very likely, then the 5 minutes that he is going to spend wearing the mask are not going to matter at all.

It's concept art. The film doesn't even have a director yet, therefore... no production designer. We'll see what happens but i'm guessing that there will be changes to the looks. Star Lord should have a whole helmet, and the mask part of it should retract, kinda like in the video game Dead Space.

Also, say hello to Stark's new armour. Seems extremis is in the film, but this design seems closer to the "bleeding edge" stuff he currently wears. Oh and Ben Kingsley has been 100% confirmed as Mandarin. The Iron Patriot looking armour is War Machine.

I recommended House of M, Secret Invasion and Siege for the following reasons:

-Great story
-Awesome art
-and a lot of Marvel characters.

Keep in mind, this a guy who is fairly new to the Marvel universe and does not have preconception of what and how things should be. He may like it or he may hate it, but it has elements of what someone might look for in a Marvel comic and comics, in general.
