I love Stryfe and his batshit raving poetic insanity. LOVE IT. If Stryfe got his own on-going written in that fashion I'd buy enough issues to keep it above the cancellation level myself.

    I want Holocaust back ASAP.

I want Apocalypse to be the world-shaking bad ass he should be up there with Doom and such. He should be a massive threat and a total boss.

    I don't mind Sugar Man.

I hate the idea of No More Mutants...More Mutants is why I read X-men, always hoping to see someone new and cool.

I think Ruckus is cool and could use some more face-time.

When I read Mr Sinister I hear his voice from the 90's cartoon. Best voice ever.

I think the way Gambit is treated is totally illogical, especially considering the evil people on the team now...even though I'm not a Gambit fan.

Wolverine should never beat Sabretooth. Anyone that says otherwise is a dumbass.

    Omega Red has what? A) A great power set B) a great design or C) A & B. The answer is C.

I think that Marvel has ruined their villains line-wide by over-hyping the heroes and castrating their best bad guys time and time again...I want a return of big bads in a bad way!

I love the idea of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse but I think they've always had the worst line-ups imaginable. Apocalypse deserves the best followers.

Adam-X is the 3rd Summers brother in my mind.

Havok's X-factor costume has always been my favorite EXCEPT for AoA Havok.

AoA Havok was the best version of the character ever.

If I can't have Holocaust back I want a bad ass 616 version of flesh & blood Nemesis...and maybe he can kill Scarlet Witch to boot in this reality too.

I don't care about the Scarlet Witch one way or the other. I don't even consider her part of the X-franchise really.

Magneto is an evil villain regardless of his pathos. He's a whiney bitch. It happened 70 friggin' years ago, Mags...get over it.

I firmly believe Emma Frost will revert to true form sooner or later and that she deserves comeuppance. I don't consider her a hero.

I miss the days of Cyclops being explicitly able to beat the bejeezus out of Wolverine. That is the way it should be.

The best Wolverine was written by Larry Hama. Anyone that disagrees is flat wrong.

Nate Grey is awesome and needs his powers back.
I fully support Quentin Quire for the office of Phoenix in 2012! Kid Omega and the Phoenix! Only together can they burn it! Burn it all!

I contend that the 90's were the last good X-timeframe other than some of Morrison's stuff though I readily admit that, while imaginative and fun, Morrison's X-work does not strike me as appropriate for X-men. It was good...great even, but it never felt like X-men. I still love it, but it lacked something...dunno what. Again, I still think its great and re-read it about once a year, but it doesn't have the same magic...

The 90's though? Stryfe and Fatal Attractions and the X-men cartoon? God, that is a freaking golden age. Was some stuff bad? Oh hell yes, but the good stuff was UNIVERSE-DEFINING.

Just think about being an X-fan back then...it was like being in Shangri-La...ANYTHING could happen. Any sort of new mutant could pop up with any sort of awesome power and they could be gone in one issue or blow up into a super star. And when you were in school and talked about X-men people knew what the hell you were talking about and that was great. 90's X-men sparked my friendship with my best friend and we STILL talk about comics to this day on a weekly basis.

And no, its not rose tinted nostalgia glasses because I HATE a vast majority of the 90's for comics, having spent a good portion of it reading 80's and 70's back issues. DC was a train wreck (and DC has some of my favorite characters), Avengers was mind numbingly boring for the most part, Cap was far past his best stuff, Thor was...uh..what?...Iron Man...all of them...

So much was bad in the 90's though....but X-men?

Hell, three friggin' letters....A O A. 'nuff said.

My first were Uncanny 325 and X-Men 45. It was absolutely amazing. Onslaught crossover taught me about the FF and the Avengers. I loved everything. The 90s rule. Fuck the haters. Nothing has ever been as good as what came in the 90s. I see your Cassandra Xavier and raise you a Renee Majcomb. I see your Sublime and raise you a Rory Campbell. Rot in hell Morrison crazies, there is no forgiveness for you

The 90s was fun but vacuous. Bigger, stronger, edgier, and Rob Liefeld. It's nice to go back and visit, but please don't bring back. the 90s themes. It's nothing but punching and shooting.
VIVA KUSASAN!!! Morrison On Magneto: I made him into a stupid old drug-addicted idiot. CC had done a lot of good work over the years to redeem the character. And I went in and sh*t on all of it.

I don't think Wolverine should be able to beat Sabretooth, at least not easily. Wolverine keeps making Sabretooth look like a punk but thats not how it should be. Sabretooth is the one that accepts and gives in to his animal urges while Wolverine strives to keep his humanity. That should mean that the only way Wolverine can beat Sabretooth is outsmarting him.

I prefer Magneto as a hero. I've never liked him as a villain but I think he makes a wonderful hero. He's sort of morally dubious but he cares about mutantkind which makes him a great hero.

Cyclops/Emma is my favorite Marvel couple ever. There's none of the drama there was between him and Jean. They support each other through everything and I'd really hate to see the relationship end in AvX.

I hate the current Wolverine. He's gone so far away from what made Wolverine fun and interesting. I really used to like the character because he was gritty, had a "its gotta be done" mentality, a mysterious past and a soft spot for young people. The entirety of Schism and Watxm has just made him look like a pretentious douche that just did it to spite Cyclops. My biggest problem with him is that he's in so many comics and being written in so many ways. You can't have him being Professor W the peace loving man that cares about the children in Watxm and have him be Wolverine the merciless killer in Uncanny X-Force.

I love current Cyclops. I don't understand people who think he's a jerk or that he's too extreme. There are less than 200 individuals of his species left and he makes tough choices and calls to protect them. I like him better now than I ever have. He used to just be a by the book douche but being leader of the X-Men and his relationship with Emma has given him a lot of depth.

I liked Gambits death persona. It kinda made sense to me. Gambit gets treated like crap by the X-Men and decides to infiltrate Apocalypses ranks because he believes Apocalypse can be useful to mutants but wants to keep an eye on him for the X-Men. He's always been a passionate character so giving him what is essentially a Hulk (extreme emotions make him transform) is really interesting. It'll supposedly feature in the new Gambit ongoing and I really hope it isn't just ignored and swept under the rug.

Me too. It has SO boring.

The first arc is boring but it gets a lot better after that.

I really wish Legacy would focus off of Rogue. Since when is she a big character in the X-Universe?

The 90s get way too much hate, Proteus and god loves man kills are Claremont's best work (including dark phoenix) Gambit death persona is terrible and Liu seems to be the only person these days that can write for him in any meaningful way. Even if he's not doing anything major she manages to get his essense (summed up perfectly in x-23's visit to Paris) Cyclops is the best he has ever been, he's not there to be liked, he's there to lead. I quite enjoyed the first few arcs of xtreme x men (the first run)

    Yup!

Um also...childrens comics SHOULD be little more than punching and shooting (with a nice little bonus of simple morals and fun stories). Its what makes them awesome. Why do you think manga absolutely murders American comics in sales? Because American comics are pretending to be artsy intellectual reading while featuring people in silly costumes fighting cosmic bugs (or whatever) and most popular manga is colorful characters beating each other up around simple moralistic messages. They're more fun. Kids like fun.

Bring back the 90s! Bring back fun!

If the Legacy teaser is for a renumbered X-Men Legacy, then you'll be getting your wish, as Remender stated Rogue won't be appearing outside of Uncanny Avengers.
