Default Whatever happened to Vertigo Crime?

Last one of this pulp fiction goodness came out a while ago. I serarch for the next one in DC's Site and see nothing of it. I guess the closest is the Girl with the Dragon Tatoo Graphic Novel that's coming out with Bermejo on the Cover but they aren't calling it a Vertigo Crime book.

Please don't tell me this is dead already.
...And does Mr. Goddanm Batman says so much as ''Thanks''? OF COURSE not. That'd hardly be GRIM AND GRITTY, would it?

    The jerk...

Unfortunately it essentially is. Berger said at Wondercon there were no other plans to do OGN's in the format.

Vertigo is still doing OGNs. I4m not hung up about what imprint they're doing them in. Especially since Vertigo Crime often were not crime stories but supernatural horror.
'The marquis. Well, you know, to be honest, he seems a little bit dodgy to me.'
'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."

I haven't read them all, but other than Dark Entries and Area 51, most seemed to be crime to me. The Bronx Kill, Filthy Rich and Ratcatcher were certainly in the crime mold, although Ratcatcher fits more in the mold of a thriller. (If any of the Vertigo Crime line were adapted to film, Ratcatcher would be my choice. It would make one hell of a Denzel Washington movie.)

As far as OGNs in general, Get Jiro was just released last week, and there's been Gone to Amerikay, ADD, and Flight of Angels over the past six months. It's a bit older, but I picked up Luna Park a few weeks ago, and it's definitely one of those lost Vertigo gems that people should check out.
