David Marquez is an awesome artist on usm i didn't know he was still at the con when i went and bumped in to him i got a signed miles poster and a picture with him he was so nice. the sig and picture where free to i just payed for the miles poster. wanted him to sketch me miles but a full body was like 200 but im just happy with my pic and poster

And again, its nice to hear a creator step up and talk about the Ultimate trinity. What part of that are you not getting?

The panel was pretty neat. I was kind of disappointed that the new series is another iron man book, but I've liked them all so far. They were hitting pretty hard on the whole shared universe idea so hopefully we see that soon.

His writing was so dreadfully 'sh*t' that it literally boggled my mind how he ever came to be a 'professional' writer. I'm sure anyone on this board could've written a better story. I'm pretty sure that if anyone from Plawsky, Balfro, Jer, Wyokid, thecrimson, Samurai Black, Rocky Banks, Elayis, Trallis, Wolverine12, sage6paths, you or to I were to be chosen to write Ultimatum, we would have done a much better job.

Aren't I entitled to my opinion?. I wasn't 'trolling' or anything. It was a short conversation that ended quickly.

I wasn't looking for a chance to 'bash' and I did not intend to get a rise out of anyone. After replying how the poor writing of Ultimatum was indeed Loeb's fault (and quite briefly I might add) I went further and explained myself after the poster I was addressing denied my theory. And I denied his first which is fine, it's all healthy discussion :). But what's wrong with me having a negative opinion on a comicbook?? Seriously. If you're gona get all upset about something like that, don't go on forums.

I wasn't trying to exaggerate my dislike either. I have literally never read a book so childish that was supposed to be a piece of good literature, in all my life. "Suck it" and "It's time for magneto....(turns the page).... TO DIE!!!" are good examples of Loeb's bad writing. If you disagree, that's fine. I'd rather not continue with this discussion anyway. Ultimatum's in the past and I'm happy to move forward. I've loved everything since Ultimatum (bar New Ultimates and UAvsNU) and I'm happy with the executive decisions that were made. The UU is radically different now and all the better for it. I won't be furthering this discussion any further so good bye and perhaps I'll see you around on these boards another time. Hopefully then we can get along a little better.
