I love that Lobdell actually teases us about what is to come. He doesn't really reveal anything, but he implies them. Everyone else just avoids talking about the future of their books.
I'm really looking forward to a more connected Super Family. I hope Steel joins in the 4th wave
I've seen a couple of his panels at the Phoenix Comicon, and his enthusiasm is infectious. I may not always like his ideas or his execution, but I can tell he's excited about them and putting his all into them. And he hits on them more than he strikes out, in my opinion. Just seems like a nice guy. Looking forward to his take on Superman. Seems like he's making Superman be the public, squeaky clean image, whereas as Clark Kent, he can be more direct with his opinions on things like politics.
Scott Lobdell. Wow.
Poor Superman...
I enjoyed this nugget.....
"I did a pitch with every relationship of everyone he knows, pages of Bizarro and Toyman and Axis America, all these villains that I want to do in the vein of the New 52."
Well, once again I'm a little disappointed by this year SDCC panels. I was hoping for some new teasers for the future storylines and got almost nothing.
Lobdell has some interesting ideas. Still, I'll be dropping Superboy big time. Kenneth Rocafort is alone enough to buy Superman, but hopefully the writing delivers too.
Also, BQM wasn't even at the panel. Or else he could have answered the Stephanie Brown question.
Lobdell's direction for Superman seems pretty exciting, I hope he can deliver the creativeness the title deserves.
Comic Books are fun, Comic Book fans not so much.
I'm looking forward to them following up on THE CLONES turning bad
i have a beautiful filthy mind
I would love to see someone like Warren Ellis or Mark Waid on Superman.
