Think the shift from a Azzarello/Chiang WW to Jim Lee WW would be pretty...unwanted.
My work: http://www.fanfiction.net/~outside85
I think it would see thousands of copies, because most comicbook fans are like that anyway (holyshiz Jim Lee drawing must have!).
Thought, I highly doubt he would actually write it, if he does start working on WW, he'll just be the artist and he'll let Azzarello do most of the rest. The two of them seem pretty close anyway.

I would def buy an Azarello/Lee Wonder Woman comic!!!!
It may be small but it shoots quick!
Well, first off, he's not necessarily talking about doing a run of the regular series. He mentioned Earth One/Earth Two/Elseworlds, which all point to a stand-alone product.
But even if he did wind up doing the main Wonder Woman comic: He hasn't even gotten beyond a "this might be a good idea" stage. It may be another 6 months or longer before there's any movement on this, and then he'll need at least 6 months to a year lead time, if history is any indicator. So we're talking late 2013 or 2014 at the earliest. I'm not convinced that Azzarello and Chiang have more than 2-2.5 years of Wonder Woman stories in them.
Why would Jim Lee be thinking about "new" projects when he hasn't finished his "old" projects yet-- Dark Knight Boy Wonder and Batman Europa?
Currently reading far too many comics to list (mostly DC/Vertigo), despite the best hope of my parents that I'd outgrow comics by the time I turned 50.
We are hitting the point of self-parody around here.
Comics were happier before the Internet turned writing superhero stories into fruitless attempts to impress/entertain a small group of ppl who appear to hate comics and their creators.
