Default Should Poison ivy be a anti-hero?

I feel that its time for her character to progress onto the next stage and become a anti-hero type, she has been written so poorly as a villian.

I feel like she's definitely moving in that direction especially with her appearances in Birds of Prey.
Being an eco-terrorist, I think the role of an anti-hero suits her better than a flat out villain.

100% I think she's such a great character and would LOVE to see her as a hero in the next 15 years. Imagine the movies!?!?

gotham city sirens with catwoman, poison ivy and harley living together was kind of like that (but now in new 52, that probably never happened). i liked that book overall, it was just fun.

Do you people not know about Birds of Prey? She is on a hero team, hell she defeated the Talon almost single-handed after he beat on everyone else.

She looks like she's betraying the team though and then will be featured in Swamp Thing.

Personally I loved her new look with the black eyes, the biosuit and the facial twirls and would hate all of that to go away which it is as she's in more traditional garb in the Swamp Thing cover.

However chaotic-neutral always rang more her style. A seductress at times but I dislike her as totally evil too.

I would like to see her move more into that direction. With GCS and now being on the BoP I would almost be quick to say she already is an anti-hero, but with the possibility of her crossing the team I can't say she's reformed just yet.

She's always been an anti-hero to me in what I've seen. There has always been an undercurrent of her having a noble purpose whatever the story is built on. She's not just a criminal with a plant fixation most times though certainly she's played that role.

I always considered Poison Ivy to be an anti-hero of sorts, perhaps with darker shades of grey than others. She's definitely had her nobler moments and I enjoy her character dynamic and potential to fill the niche of both villain and anti-hero.

All the good female villains get turned into anti heroes eventually. This is why their aren't any great female villains. The lack of great female villains is a direct result of the lack of female villains.

I think she should be a misguided anti-hero, the eco-terrorist angle works pretty well with that.

Yeah as a full on villain, she pretty much just does the same boring scheme with plants. I prefer the anti-hero, sometimes antagonist role.

Yes and no, should she be a anti-hero, but not in the same way Catwoman is, more like Punisher, but a little less killing....
