Woulda been super cool if they didn't spoil it on the first page.

Hey, Thanos, baby!
Oh snap, I like that issue and the reveal, I forgot all about him lol. He was not even one of my guesses. But good issue can't wait for 21.

Venom continues to be one of the most kick-ass reads out there. I love how unleashed Flash was in this issue. As for the reveal of CM's identity, it's a shocker to be sure but I'll have to wait until more info is revealed next issue to know how I feel about it overall. Betty's going to be a wreck by the time this arc is over - between finding out that Flash is Venom and that her brother is not only still alive but is a ruthless criminal mastermind.
What's that stuff Flash's talking about circus and electric bills?
I'm confused to whether or not Death Adder and Human Fly are alive or dead. It looked like he killed them, but they are alive on the cover of 21.
Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker, Professor X, Mar-Vell, Richard Rider- Bring Them Back!!!

A cover is a cover. Plenty of dead guys have appeared on covers.
spoilers:end of spoilers
Fly is very much alive though. At least, by the end of 20, Venom might kill him next issue, maybe he won't, but at the moment he just has cut off the guy's wings. Meh.

Interesting reveal on the CM, guess it makes sense with the flow of the story since #1. Alittle disapointed HF didnt eat Flashes mom. Ripping of his wings was pretty sweet, youd think people would think twice about screwing with Venom no matter who was under the suit. Nice that he told his mom and the woman with the kid to look away, I wonder how much being an avenger will fit into this title afterall. I mean he botched his escort mission, and theyre all off dealing with phoenix. And the secret avengers is going away after AvX. Maybe it was just a set up to legitimize flash as a hero, and hell be more of a free range hero from here on out?
Didn't Blade X claim that Venom would be canceled by issue #18? Someone dig that quote up.

The reveal wasn't too surprising as it was the only one that made some sense, though it's odd to bring back someone from that long ago. Still, I doubt Betty will turn on Flash as there isn't really any reason for her to do such a thing. I could see her pretending to do so though.
Some of that rage is coming back with Flash. It was always there, but he seems to be losing control more and more. Can't blame him with all the stress I suppose. Curious as to what will happen when he inevitably Venom's Out again, most likely next issue.
We saw him get shot and pass out in front of Betty; we never saw what happened to the body. In terms of comic book deaths, especially for Marvel, there are a million ways he could be brought back.
This was a great issue. I loved the scene when Crimemaster is standing in the orange room with his henchmen behind him. I seriously think that Toxin is a wild card, and I'm hoping that Eddie is able to fight off the influence of the symbiote.

Yes, it is. The Hood resurrected a number of Scourge victims (including the Human Fly and Megatak) in Remender's post-Secret Invasion Punisher series, and Roland Burroughs, the original Death Adder, was one of them.
There is, however, a replacement Death Adder, Theodore Scott, who was seen with the Serpent Society in Nova a few years back.
