So I called my LCS yesterday to reserve this one aside for me, and when I came in a little earlier today, he showed me this big ass over sized comic. It looked awesome, then I was like, "where the fuck am I going to put this after i'm done reading it...". And the answer was nowhere, so I didn't pick it up and some other dude after me took it.

Yeah the size is something that will likely keep me from picking this up. It's hard enough finding storage space for all the long boxes without having to figure out something for an odd sized book.

HAAAAAATE digital comics. This looked decent but I'm not interested enough to work through my hatred of reading comics digitally for it.

Loved this. Great work all around and the size of the book really puts a great perspective on the story and what the characters are dealing with. Best way to describe the size is that it will be a coffee table comic book.

I have a box of nothing but treasury edition comics. Sad there are so few modern ones. DC had a half dozen in the past decade. Awful binding on them tho. Gave them away when I got the hardcover. Russ Cochran did an issue of Tales From the Crypt in treasury size. He wanted to do the whole reprint line in that format, but in the 90s no one would pay $3.99 for a 64 page comic book. A wayback machine and one of Marvel's current 19 pagers for $3.99 might have turned that mindset around. LOL.

I still have Marvel's adaptions of both Star Wars and Empire in this size. Al Williamson's art looks beautiful in this size, even with the lousy printing of the time. I still have a copy of GI Joe #1 in that size as well. They sold that to toy stores, IIRC. My favorites were the Famous First Editions. DC reprinted classic Golden Age comics, cover-to-cover in that over-sized format. These were my first glimpses of stuff like All-Star Comics #3 and Batman #1. I loved those as a kid.

I agree, This book is awesome! Sucks for the ones that missed out. I heard it was a sell out so they may do a 2nd print for it maybe.

Hey guys, I know a lot of you may be having a hard time getting your hands on Enormous as it has SOLD OUT! If you try Ebay they have 3 or 4 of them on there. One is a real good deal that comes with three other books, and its only at .99cents to start. I'll put the link to it at the bottom of this post. Ok I picked it up last week and read it, and it sucked.
You can barely distinct characters from each other, no idea where they are 90% of the time because the panels changes from place to place but it's always zoomed in on the characters so I don't know if the story takes place in a 100m radius or 1000km. Story sux, the actions sux and even the art isn't very good, I saw some real life photos with just some brushing over them to make it look like it was drawn and that is just cheap. I'm returning that thing back this week to my LCS, I don't even care if they don't give me some cash back for it, I just want to get rid of it.
