Uncanny X-Force #27 [Spoilers]

It's been apparent that Fantomex has had feelings for her since Otherworld, and his subsequent revelations imply an even earlier attraction to be with her.

Which is what just made it creepy not sypathetic. The irresitable girl who everyone falls in love with for no discernable reason in his case didn't make me like him or his convoluted story. No great loss to the book and Betsy hasn't been anything but a mess since otherworld. I really am sort of expecting the P5, Betsy, and Magneto to become the new X-Force.

That said. Mystique, Sabretooth, Daken and the rest of the new Brotherhood are great. I so want Daken and Sabretooth to make out.

Awesome issue, and lol at the trolling. It was obvious Fantomex was going to die from the get go. I didn't see Gateways death coming but those are the two members who die. Unless Ultimatum is dead too, then that's three....

Fantomex died was a bummer I really loved his character! (I loved his earlier lines to Mystique, Hilarious)

Daken never died, he escaped in his last issue, showed up at Sabertooths party in a Wolverine issue, and was in the entire arc of DEAD for Deadpool, why does everyone keep saying he died, cause your all wrong if you think that, obviously!

The last issue of Daken's series was open-ended. Many of us filled in the outcome we wanted the most: Daken's death.

You know it's interesting that you mention that. Don't one of the future UXF solicits say something about the team paying for Fantomex's deception?

Or it refers to the deception of raising Apocalypse's clone in secret and the team is paying for it when Genesis goes dark thanks to Fantomex's death.

IGN: I wanted to touch on the art in this series. You guys have been doing a really good job of maintaining a consistent visual tone despite the changes in pencilers with each arc. Can you talk about who's coming on board after Phil Noto and what you're doing as far as the visuals?

Remender: For one, I want to make sure that everyone knows it's thanks to Dean White. We've had a tremendous stable of talented artists on this book. All of them, while amazing, are very distinct. And Dean has come in and put two or three times more on the page than just about anyone working. He just bleeds onto the page. And that's done a lot as far as connecting and solidifying the series and really making it a whole.

As for who's coming up, we have Julian Totino Tedesco for #28 and #29. He's one of my absolute favorite artists working right now. He's just a brilliant storyteller – so dynamic and fluid. Those are issues are done, and I couldn't be more proud of how they turned out. They're two of my favorite things I've ever been associated with. And then we got really lucky and got Dave Williams, who's sort of an artist's artist in the same vein as Art Adams. He's a crazy genius. He's doing issue #30, which is the villain-centric issue where we deal with Evan and his time among the Brotherhood. And then coming back on #31 through 35 we have Phil Noto and Dean White sticking around to finish up Final Execution.

Well, at least we know the art line-up, now. No Opena, though :/

It ended with him hugging Wolverine and blowing up. Without a healing factor. That doesn't seem all that open ended.

It sucks that Fantomex died, i actually didn't see that coming. I'm thrilled Daken is back though.

I was referring to her being around and getting a better quality of stories being told. Not her actual character traits or direction of story.....
