So what's up with Sara Pichelli and Spider-Man?

Right, so the plan was to keep Pichelli on Spider-Man as the new Bagley. But then she gets taken off after issue 5. Does issue 8 and we're all like "waa?". Then it turns out she's doing the 5 issues of Spider-Men instead! But isn't she supposed to be as fast as Bagley? Surely she could do the USM issues AND the Spider-Men issues as well? Perhaps she's taking extra time and care with her miniseries. But I'm sure she'll return. But then what's this!? Marquez seems to know how to draw a fine comic! And he keeps getting more work with USM! Is he going to replace Sara? Is he the new USM artist? Is Pichelli ever going to return to the comic she was so exited to work on and intended to do so for a very long time?

I kind of wonder if Pichelli's going to be moved to the 616 MU.

Marquez is doing 16.1 but no artist has been revealed for issue 16.

Marvel's not exactly known for consistency with their artists...

Well Pichelli did the cover for UCSM 16.1, and Marvel said that she and Marquez will rotate story arcs for UCSM. When that starts, we don't know.

I read an interview where Marquez said the "rotating thing, then he said something like he was on for Miles education on being Spidey and after that they would switch back and forth. I think that's what he said and it's not even a definite answer. Maybe he's talking about Divided we Fall?

She's still suppose to be rotating art duties with Marquez.
So I expect she will be back on Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man some time "soon".

Or maybe Bendis already put her on the sequel of Spider-Men.

Not sure what's going on with Sara but I personally think Marquez is a lot better. He's more consistent too.

I think they used the relaunch to propel Pichelli into the spotlight and they're going to move her on after Spider-Men to a 616 title.

I just remember at NYCC after the first announcement she was charging around $200 for a sketch. The most I paid any artist at NYCC was $30 to Rafa Sandoval (because I'm a huge Sandoval fan!)

Sara had to be taken off to do Spider-Men. She SHOULD be back on soon.
