That was Jean though, she's capable of using the PF to its full power while a mere host wouldn't be able to.

Agreed. Like I've said before they desperately need a telepath. Whatever happened to Sersi or Moondragon anyway.

Moondragon dies asa defender but she got better. Not sure she is really trustworthy.

Agreed QFT, the Avengers lack varied sets of super powered beings its either martial arts, super strength, or concussion beams.
We need more varied ability users on the front lines like Justice telekinesis, Sersi, Moondragon, Silver claw, Quasar, Living Lighting,
Crystal, and Jack of Hearts.

This sounds like another lame, ridiculous crossover.

As far as the "Phoenix Force" is concerned, against Thor, I need only refer to this panel.

The X-Men universe is cute and all, but characters like Thor are on a whole new level. This is like if Steve Austin and/or The Rock jobbed five straight weeks on RAW (this Thor/PF "fight")

I don't read comics much lately (constant reboots and crossover events are getting out of control), but I feel bad for people who buy this crap.

Oh, and IMO, if having to constantly downplay Thor's power because "he has to be on his teammates level," then he shouldn't be a regular member of the Avengers. Taking him off the team is out of the question, obviously, given the success of the Avengers film as well as his own. However, they should just have Thor be "on-call." Whenever the others need the big guns, they bring in Hulk and Thor.

Make no mistake, I think Phoenix Emma would've taken Thor anyway once Diamond form was activated, but I don't agree with that diamond attack she did, nor Thor shattering her like he did.

Agreed, I don't mind that she won but it's just the way that she won I don't agree with, It's just too inconsistent for my taste.
