Also Blue Shadow Rachel & Cassandra Nova destroyed Gladiator so not sure why it took Colossus effort to put him down either. Telepathy is being downplayed but it has to for story purposes. It was funnier to see him beat down anyway I guess.

The Beyonder kinda fluctuates when it comes to how strong he is. In SW I, he was basically God. But, at one point, he was less powerful then a Cosmic Cube.

Yea, i get that Gladiators powers are effected by his mental state. But again, the guy flies trillions of times faster than light. He could punch every single being involved in the war before they even realise he's there. The guy has out ran, well out flew, a universe wide time freeze. He's just inconceivably fast.

The Phoenix can and fly react faster, we've seen it in the DPS. Also in the original story he was slugging it out with Colossus.

The Phoenix has never displayed that type of speed. And whenever Gladiator doesn't use his speed it's called plot induced stupidity. The writer ignores the fact that Gladiator is on the same level of Pre Crisis Superman, which is beyond any Earth bound character in the Marvel Universe. Probably any other character in the Marvel Universe period.

In Gladiators first appearance Colossus pre-upgrade slugged it out with him so it wouldn't be plot induced stupidity because the writer that created never portrayed him at an advantage there. Secondly, the Phoenix could hang with Firelird and Gladiator, has transversed warp speeds so that is enough evidence, plus it has cosmic awareness. In Wolverine vs Thor, Wolverine was shown as faster then Thor but he can hang with Gladiator is that PIS?

Ignore all those feats (cracking planets, surviving in the center o a star...etc.). All you need to know is Thor = Gladiator = Silver Surfer < Phoenix.

If you were to use logic, Gladiator would never have lost a single fight ever; a guy with Hulk´s strength and Quicksilver´s speed should be able to kill any Marvel Universe team before they even realise he is there.

I think that even after being nerfed he is still stronger than the Phoenix.

I guess I am not particularly interested in the reason that someone is trying to kill me. If they fail, and I have the Phoenix power, they would be in trouble. You take a shot at someone stronger than you and you get what's coming.

Enjoyed this issue. The Daredevil fight was good, but I still think Daredevil could have owned Betsy, but I was satisfied with how and why they came to a draw. The Emma/Thor fight was fun, especially that artwork! Fight made sense, and Thor would have won if not for the Phoenix power, so unfair advantage for Mrs Frost.

Enjoyed this issue. The Daredevil fight was good, but I still think Daredevil could have owned Betsy, but I was satisfied with how and why they came to a draw. The Emma/Thor fight was fun, especially that artwork! Fight made sense, and Thor would have won if not for the Phoenix power, so unfair advantage for Mrs Frost.
