It creates congestion that Didio & Co 'naturally' feel they have to cull.
It's not about legacy characters, it's about stories that aren't mediocre.

    Batman
    Detective Comics
    Batgirl
    Batgirl Annual
    Catwoman

seem most likely for me to get at the moment. Several others are maybes.

I really like most of these covers. But the Birds of Prey one is definately not doing it for me.

He had some pretty mediocre stories as Batman, too. I remember the run with Daniel as writer.

    My list:

    Talon--I'll try it
    Batman
    B:TDK
    Tec
    Catwoman
    BoP
    Batwoman

I still haven't read Nightwing, but I'm going to pick up a couple of the issues, and if I like it, I'll pick them up come October.

I've noticed my enthusiasm though for Batman Beyond Unlimited has started to wane just a bit. That cover of the slightly rusted man of steel VS 'classic' Grundy has my interest piqued though! I've heard Grundy has gotten a major make-over in Earth 2 #3 but I don't get my copy of that issue until tomorrow.
I'm putting my comment here because I couldn't find a seperate Batman Beyond Unlimited thread. Is everybody else having a problem with this book having less and less to do about McGuiness and more and more about Superman Beyond?Isn't it time for DC to take the plunge and try Superman Beyond in it's own book and maybe take the JLU as a back story with it so we finally can get a full 48 pgs. or so of Batman Beyond? It's not that the other stories haven't been good,but.....and what was that Origin Warhawk all about.Something that any other company would have marketed as a 1.00 special or an FCBD Teaser.

Yeah I'm not really liking Superman Beyond's inclusion as it has cut the amount of Batman Beyond in the book. They had a great idea in delivering two comics in one with Batman Beyond and Justice League Beyond. Now things are stretched thin with a third title invovled. They really need to cut away one of the books or actually let the title have three full issues in one. Even though the latter would be more expensive I actually wouldn't mind it as alll three titles have shown decent potential.

I'm assuming you see the reason already.
I would like to say for the record that this is the FIRST TIME I've withheld dong when someone was so desperately asking for some.

An expanded book at say 5.99 is a good idea and my LCS owner at 1 of the 2 stores I deal with said how about a DC Beyond Or Beyond Unlimited? This would have encompassed the Nu Beyond Universe and not lead the buyer to think they were really getting a Bat Beyond book every month. To me they were just marketing this as Batman because Batman was the current buzzword with the movie coming out. This was a little disappointing because I prefer the contained Batman Beyond Universe and don't really care for this fan mania to have a Beyond analog for every freaking character in DCU.It spoils the whole idea of what Bat Beyond was originally supposed to be.This pile on of everything in 1 issue isn't working for me either and this book may be the next drop soon.

Might pick up Batman Incorporated #5 depending on what else I end up getting.
