After looking closely at Nightwing cover i.e. weird tail weapon thing, I've decided I'm not gonna get it.
People are quick to forget/ignore the power of art. As a form of healing, and as a form of propaganda.

    Talon
    Batman, Incorporated
    Batman
    Detective Comics
    Batman: The Dark Knight
    Batwing
    Birds of Prey
    Red Hood & the Outlaws

I may or may not decide to give Catwoman another chance when Nocenti takes over. It's going to be an overall big month for me between adding Detective, DCUP, and three of the annuals. DC really knows how to make me give them more money.
    Current favorites:

    DC: Smallville, Supergirl, Detective Comics
Marvel: Ultimate X-Men, Scarlet Spider, X-Factor, Thor
Other: Saga, Angel & Faith, Buffy

Picking up Batwoman, Batwing, & Batman Beyond Unlimited. I'm considering picking up Legends of the Dark Knight as well though I'm unsure at the moment.

I too, like most, am being sent to the poor house by DC. Before the New 52 I was buying 1-2 books a month. Then once the New 52 started, I was trying to limit my intake to 4-6 books. Now I'm at 7 (Thanks, Morrison and Hurwitz *bastards*). I thought I was screwed in September, because it's Zero Month, and I want to get all the Batman lead books... I'm at 9. But that doesn't even beat October. Which is the worst month for me to spend money, because Halloween's a huge deal for me. ELEVEN BOOKS!

    Detective #13
    LOTDK #1
    Batgirl #13
    Batman Inc. #5
    Batman #13
    Arkham Unhinged #7
    Catwoman #13
    TDK #13
    Batgirl Annual #1
    Batman Beyond #9
And the one Non-Bat Book... Wonder Woman #13

    Geez, DC.

INC, Batman, Tec, RHatO. Can't justify B&R once the other Robin guest star thing is done, and TDK didn't suddenly blow me away. Good, interesting now to be sure, but vanilla isn't my thing. Even tinged with awesome. BoP is a book that if it cut down on cast, to just Canary, Starling and possibly Katana, and sped up a notch, would be great. So I won't get it, for the moment.

Man, doesn't look Talon is gonna do well on this forum. If only the same amount of people who are getting Catwoman are going to try the first issue... hmm, DC may have been overly optimistic on that one. Still, might be good. If so, someone please do tell me.
I would like to say for the record that this is the FIRST TIME I've withheld dong when someone was so desperately asking for some.

Batman Inc. looks even more amazing than usual. 666 Damian is back! I squealed outloud when I first read the solicit... it was embarrassing.

And JH Williams is back to Batwoman! With Wonder Woman no less.

Everything else looks dull in comparison.

On a brighter note, I don't think that I've ever bought 10 Batbooks in a single month before.
Well at least it should give Barrows time to catch his breath, but still, again, i think its kind of weird bringing in Tom Defalco to write 2 issues. When Higgins and Barrows come back though, 15-16 are evidently gonna be big. Whatever that means.

    Batman, Incorporated #5
    Batman #13
    Detecive Comics #13
    Batman: The Dark Knight #13
    Batman & Robin #13
    Batwoman #13
    Batwing #13

Legends of the Dark Knight #1

And, if Talon #0 tickles my fancy, I'll be picking #1 up. (Totally should have been a Red Robin monthly, though.)

Most excited for the Snyder and Capullo's Death of the Family. Batman, Inc is a close second. (which is still a pretty big gap. The Batman on-going trumps all.) :)

Edit: Morrison NEEDS to write a Damian-Bats mini series. I'd eat that shit up like Buffalo wings. NOM NOM NOM.

So, I'm taking it no one likes Tom DeFalco? I never read any of his stuff (I don't think), but people don't seem too optimistic.

At least initially he sounds like a Wolverine-Lite if he has the same regenerative talon powers and probably runs around with hand held talon claws. Talon is to an owl as Catman is to cats as to they both come across as very generic C-list equivalencies to Batman.
    Pull list:
Adventure Time, Batgirl, Batman & Robin, BOP, Earth 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, He-Man, Katana, Nightwing, Shadowman, Swamp Thing, The Ultimates, Ultimate Spider-Man, Worlds' Finest

Wowser, the debut of Joker in Snyder's Batman PLUS a return to the Damien as Batman future in Batman Inc? Sign me up for the month of October.

    -Batman Beyond Unlimited
    -Batman
    -Batgirl
    -Batwoman
    -Batwing
    -Nightwing
    -Red Hood and the Outlaws
-Talon -if the 0 issue grabs me
    -Detective

That will be all the Bat titles I'll be getting come September. I'm dropping Catwoman with the creative change since Nocenti's writing on Green Arrow is to inconsistant for my tastes. I'll also be officially dropping B&R at the close of the Robin arc. I can't justify spending any more money on a title that's not enjoyable to me. I gave it an honest try for a year and have only been disappointed in both the art and writing so I can't really justify spending any more money on it at the moment.

Good question, but I don't have any answers. I'm sure they're going to keep the back-up, but not a word about it so far.

You think that's bad? Before the New 52, I was only buying one non-bat book regularly (Secret Six). Now I'm getting 12. And I also want to add several books during Zero Month that I normally don't get.

Offhand, it strikes me as something that would have about the same amount of appeal as say, Batwing. But if the first few issues blow us away with awesomeness, that could change. I'm sure going to give it a try.

I haven't read any of his stuff for a long time but, back in the day, he was certainly an "okay" writer. He did some nice work on Spider-Man and Spider-Girl. But he's not known for producing awesome work. I think he'll be find on a fill-in basis.

I have that problem as well. Not only am I getting 9 Bat titles in October but there are all the other ones I get outside of those.

    -All Star Western
    -Earth 2
    -Worlds' Finest
    -Flash
    -Aquaman
    -Teen Titans
    -Superman Family Adventures
    -Blue Beetle
    -Demon Knights
-Sword of Sorcery- if the 0 issue is interesting
    -Wonder Woman
    -Superman

I'm sure I'm missing one or two there but I completely understand your wallet's pain. I was only reading four DC regularly before the New 52 started and now my number are hovering at around 20 or so titles.

Ain't that the truth. I've stuck it out this long with B&R because I really wanted to like the book and I promised myself I would give it a year to grow on me but it's just not happening under Tomasi's pen. Guess them's the breaks. I'll likely be back when there's a creative team change or if I see something that grabs my attention about it again since I do still like Damian.
