    Default Recommend me some Anime

So I haven't really kept up to date with anime since I graduated college, been busy with life.

I'm looking with something that has good story, high quality production and preferably from the last two years. The last few things I watched were, Tiger and Bunny, Last exile: Ginyoku no Fam, high school of the dead and Redline.

I am open to many genre.

I would recommend Baccano and Durarara! as they are both pretty excellent.

Heartily seconding Baccano. Durarara didn't quite grab me the same way, but what I saw of it seemed okay. Should probably pick it up where I left off.

Guilty Crown is another one I need to finish, because what I did see of it was totally epic.

Then there's my default suggestions: To Aru Majutsu no Index and To Aru Kagaku no Railgun. Watch them if you haven't already.

    I watched

    summer wars
    Durarara!

I actually did start Baccano but wasn't in the mood for it. Maybe I should be now. I'll look up the other ones mentioned. Thank you :)

The World Only God Knows is a great adaptation of the manga.

It may or may not suit your tastes though. Check the wiki or asks around the internet to get a feel before you dive in.

Kamisama dolls was an interesting take on 'what happens after the hero retires'. Its a manga adaptation though so the story is unfinished.

Bacanno can never be recommended enough.

Horizon is zany fun, but it is not for everyone.

A lot of the recent mecha shows/OAVs/movies have had high production values. Gundam 00, Gundam Unicorn, Macross Frontier. Unfortunately only the first two are available in the states so far, as Macross is always tangled in rights issues of some kind.

Gundam 00 is rather old. I watched it when it came out. Heard about Gundam Unicorn but decided to take a break from Gundam series as they were usually the same thing.
