That's because there's a major national crisis and SHIELD needs to utilize every asset at their disposal. Once DWF is over, they'll probably reconsider whether or not they want him to stay on as a permanent member of the team.

Honestly, I gotta say not, at least not yet. For one thing, he's still far too young and inexperienced to be a part of the Ultimates, especially with some of the threats that they've had to take on as of recently. He's just started taking on street level villains, he's not quite on Peter's level just yet. Also it would kinda detract from Jessica's involvement in the Ultimates having another Spider-person on the team. As is, based on the solicits, Miles has had more to do with the Ultimates in just 2 issues than Jessica has had since she first joined the team. So I gotta go with no, at least until he's older.
Holding out for a Peter/Miles team up.

He should be under some kind of guidance. He's just starting out, so having someone guide him from the beginning might prevent what happened to Peter happening to him.

Keep Spider-Woman on the Ultimates, and have her appear as a regular cast member in Ultimate Comics Spider-Man as his mentor. Who better than someone with the outlook and memories of Peter Parker plus the proportionate powers of a spider?

I say yes, for people claiming he's too young must had forgot all the teen heroes and kid heroes that goes up against massive threats, from skaar to Robin, and from superbly to static shock. There are tons of teen to kid heroes that have taken on great threats. Secondly, miles is very isolated as is, people have problems with the fact that things are going on in ultimate and xmen doesn't show up in usm but having miles join the team may fix that

I would have said the Ultimates shouldn't have anything to do with him, but they already do.. so there's really only two options. They know who he is and what he's doing, so unless they're gonna tell him he has to stop, they're gonna have to train him.

But this is the Ultimate Universe which is a bit more realistic.

I don't think he should and hope the writers don't have him join. Not Yet. Maybe a one time team up in DWF/UWS.

He's clearly not ready, I liked the idea of Miles fighting crime in Brooklyn and going to school hiding his identity from everyone except his mom, Ganke, Judge, and glasses, and why would the Ultimates accept him so quickly and easily. It shouldn't be so easy to join the Ultimates.

And I have only read Miles USM series so far, but I gotta say it wouldn't exactly be fair for him to get the goods of everything that was intended for Ultimate Pete. Pete deserved it more.

I say absolutely not. Though on the age issue he is technically older than Spider-woman.

Spider-Man works best as a street level hero. If you need convincing go read Bendis's work on New Avengers. He is fun to have around, but his best stuff is when he is by himself so he can shine. I think this works for Miles as well, he certainly doesn't have the training or skills to go up against the likes of Reed Richards or the world ending threats that the Ultimates deal with. Heck the best thing about Ultimatum was the Spiderman tie-ins. Watching Peter do everything he could on the ground was amazing.

For my own bias reasons (I hated that they killed Peter) I said that Miles shouldn't be fighting any crime. Which isn't exactly true. I just would prefer that Miles could've been an original creation instead of using the position of a highly popular character that has been around for decades to make him popular.

I'm all for the Ultimates training him to become a better fighter as he progresses in age, but I'd rather Miles operate outside their ring. His being thirteen isn't so much of an objection, considering the types of people he's been fighting already (street level or no, there's just as much a chance he'd get killed by them if they were Top Tier villains like Reed Richards and the like). They've got Jessica Drew and as superficial as that may sound, one "Spider-Man" (or Spider-Woman/Girl) on their team is good enough. Also, @Balfro pretty much summed up some other good reasons to keep him outside their title.

Sam Jackson made it clear in an early issue of USM that regardless of powers and aptitude, minors can't be Ultimates.

Also, I don't think Spider-Woman is an Ultimates member. She works for SHIELD, but I don't think she's considered and Ultimate. I could be wrong. Either way, she'd probably be the #1 choice if they needed the help of a spider-powered hero. Spider-Man is just a lot more useful on street level villains. It wasn't until very recently in 616 that Spider-Man was welcomed on to the Avengers, and he's started handling worldwide threats. Miles is not ready for that kind of stuff. Also I'd rather not lose the ONE spider-man book that I still have that feels like classic spidey. I like all the other spider-man books but I gotta have street level spidey and Miles is the perfect guy for that.

Maybe in a year or two, if he and the Ultimate Universe do not "kick the bucket."

I'd say not train him, not that I don't like Miles or think that he's a bad Spider-Man, it's just that it really increases the isolation which is I think is his best factor, even unlike Peter he's *really* out there all alone. Like that bit in the issue when the Ultimates flew overhead and he was stuck there by himself wondering what the hell he was doing was great.
