Bloodshot was always the title I was the most uncertain about since Valiant announced the titles they were relaunching. The fantastic quality of XO and Harbinger gave me new hope that Bloodshot would redeem itself in my eyes, but looking at this preview it's not doing it for me. Guess it's just not my cuppa tea. Oh well, they are still batting 2 of 3, and I am pretty certain I'm going to fall in love with Archer & Armstrong too.
In my opinion is implied in every post. Please make an effort to remember that.
VALIANT, Saga, Manhattan Projects, Locke & Key, Hawkeye, Young Avengers.
I always thought Bloodshooot was great concept that never really hit it's stride when Valiant was doing it, so far the story and the art look like they are going in the right direction.
I am also excited for this, those nanites make him ultra bad ass but also make him vulnerable and from what they said about "grey goo" a danger to everything.
It will also be interesting to see how this develops to Rai and future Valiant.
2 Valiant books tomorrow, woo-hoo!
This looks......freakin' awesome! I've been really excited for this book and the hype surrounding it is really beefing up my interest and tomorrow I'll be able to finally tear into it and see what all the hype is about. Kudo's Valiant on your amazing launch and stellar titles, please......keep 'em coming!
The art IS awesome and I'm sure there will be more going on than a typical shoot-em-up, because Valiant doesn't do typical. But the shoot-em-part, at least in the preview, isn't to my taste. I may gauge reaction and reviews for a few issues and then pick it up on Comixology after a few issues if I feel inspired, but right now I gotta say no to this one.

It did read fast, similarly to XO #1, but with a lot of plot points established that can be revisited over time. It was also, in many ways, a fairly self contained issue if one chose to view it that way.
I think the memory deal will drive this book for a while, and I am intrigued by that, as well as some of Bloodstots new abilities.
VALIANT, Saga, Manhattan Projects, Locke & Key, Hawkeye, Young Avengers.
What an issue! Seeing Ray blown to crap only for it to be a way to sneak him into where he needed to be so he could blow away those duded was brilliant, but not NEARLY as brilliant as the final couple of pages where we see the betrayal of his own friend and squad. That was intense as all hell and really has me itching for more! Man, this issue truly lived up to it's hype and I seriously can't believe how it all went down, I got a bit of a Wolverine vibe from it though.....not that it was a bad thing, but the possible implanted memories by an agency and all the kind of jazz reminded me of Weapon X in a way, but with some major differences. Amazing issue all in all and I really hope that everyone is going out to buy it because it deserves as many readers as it can get, I think I need to go and read it again. :)
That was only a complaint in the best way! I want more, now.
Definitely a Weapon X feel to it. I can't wait to see how the two concepts differ as the series go on.
I like this idea of memories as motivation...it will be interesting if some of the memories turn out to be real...but for other people.
Also interested to see how they work the memories of mob hit man Angelo Mortalli into all of this as the solicits suggested they would.
VALIANT, Saga, Manhattan Projects, Locke & Key, Hawkeye, Young Avengers.
I wonder if Bloodshot excretes nanites? Seems he would be leaving these things all over the place. ;-)

Nearly skipped this one, glad i didn't turned out be really good. Project Rising Sun needs a good ass kicking, they're just causing problems all over the place.
this was amazing and the art was awesome! I really loved this book and I wonder what will happen in issue no2 now that bloodshot has been blown to bits!!!
Really liked the issue, full marks for story and art.
Wow, the Valiant universe is shaping up to be a really brutal place. I can see why they need to add A&A to the mix a little lightness and humor may be needed to balance out the universe a bit.
