I like Remender but reading his Secret Avengers doesn't really give me much hope for Uncanny Avengers being a worthy replacement for Uncanny and All New X-men is like the weakest pitch ever.
Its like someone took the X-babies idea and thought it wasn't a joke
Currrently Reading- Suicide Squad,Justice League,Animal Man,Batwoman,Batman:The Dark Knight,Batman,Batman and Robin,Detective Comics, Wonder Woman and Jonah Hex
There was a bit of a depression from the May sales to the June sales - which is a common and predictable event (usually attributed to college age kids going off on on break). Compared to last year and the year before it, sales in general has been on an upward trajectory.
It's been a long time since Uncanny has sold this well, which is exactly why KG is being pilfered to write the lagging Iron Man book.
For reals. Unless KG foes full Howard Hughes with Stark and makes him into a full fledged weirdo, I'm not going to want anything to do with the armored avengers.

This is sad but unexpected. Welcome to limbo, New Mutants and staff of the JGSHL. I think if XML had a proper reboot with Gage came on as writer it would've survived.

kieron gillen was in the biggest and better book with the greatest sales. so , bigger than this in marvel just don't exist. Avengers is not biger comic book never was never will be. They suffer from 50 years of sucky stories so they will never have a mythos like the x-men do because they never had a claremont for 20 years. They will always be behind the x-men in sales and they will never reach guiness record for comic book sales and despite the fact that marvel is trying to make them their premiere team, i know and they know (that's why bendis got tired and left) that they will end up again like the 90s (when they died in an x-men crossover)
New Mutants was always only slighty behind X-Factor. Gen Hope sunk pretty badly no arguments there. X-Men usually does better than X-Men Legacy, before AvX anyway. Wolverine and the X-Men has always been below Uncanny X-Men. The only advantage they have is Uncanny X-Force, and that one is barely about the gold side, it's its own thing. Actually, I'd say that about X-Factor too.
So this is the cover image to the last issue of Legacy, a book that will ship shortly after the conclusion of AvX. I know one cannot deduce too much from cover images, but might it offer some clues as to who will and will not survive the endings of AvX?

No, not really. Let's look at the pre Avx landscape.
UXM = solid
New Mutants = fail
Generation Hope = fail
X-Men = fail
WatXM = solid; stabilized to UXM level after a 2-3 issues strong start
Uncanny X-Force = solid
Legacy = fail
Astonishing = fail
X-Factor = astonishingly stable, but numbers were worthy of a fail to begin with
All books I callously labelled as fails had diminishing sales prior to Schism. The event didn't change that thread. Amusingly enough, the Blue side books who failed were pretty much doomed prior to Schim while there was actual hope for Legacy/Astonishing.
