    hmmm.

Maybe they could have a completely different Daxamite character show up? After all they do have other present day Daxamites like Sodam Yat in the new 52.

I just think that there's a lot of interesting stories yet to be told about Daxam/Daxamites and someone (Morrison?) needs to really run with it.

    How about...

Daxam is one of the cities that was 'collected' and it was the one Kal was knocked in to when he fought the Collector...and that's why Kal's suit reacted the way it did when he held the 'rod'.

Lar was in some kind of pod and got pulled out of the city when the shields were breached; the concussive forces from the fight knocked him to where Metropolis was being held and, when the rocket sent Metropolis back down to Earth to be enlarged, he was caught in the beam - unconscious and in stasis.

Because he had been 'permanently miniaturised', the enlarging beam didn't work on him the way it did on Metropolis and her citizens; it took several years for the process to work. A side-effect of all this is now flits between this dimensional plane and an aspect of the Phantom Zone (something the Collector was trying to study around the time it tangoed with Kal).

The allergy to lead is pretty stupid and should be the first to go.

They should put Lar Gand in the present time (the Legion has enough members in the future) and he could be the young protege to Superman the way Dick Grayson is to Batman.

There's no rule that says he can't become a 21st century mainstay, especially in the new 52.
They've had him in the "present" a few times in the past; didn't really work out, though.

As for your comment "They should put Lar Gand in the present time (the Legion has enough members in the future)", does that make any sense? The LoSH is based in the future; there are only a few members "Lost" in the 21st Century.
He should stay with the main team in the future.

Why some may ask, simple answer: MONEL IS THE MOST GARBAGE CHARACTER TO HAVE EVER EXISTED IN ANY WORK OF FICTION! THEY TRY TO MAKE HIM USEFUL BUT HE FAILS MORE THAN SHERLOCK BONES! HE IS ONLY MEMORABLE BECAUSE OF HIS STUPIDITY!

Your lack of appreciation for Monty Python astounds me and not in a good way.

Mon El is as much importance to the Superman mythos as the Legion as being the brother Clark never had.

And no love for Krypto? For shame!

No matter how many reboots, new origins, reinterpretations or suit redesigns. In the end, he will always be SUPERMAN

I thought Mon-El most recent stay in the present was a great story. But then that was become Superman was off in lalaland so Mon was the only active Superman besides Emo-Boy. I think Daxamites and other Kryptonians should just face health problems under the exposure of the yellow sun. Make Superman the only being capable of not having his body destroy itself from the power.

I have been reading the Legion for thirty years and just clued in that at 1 018 years of age, he is so over the Legion age limit...Good work to the one up there that made me think it.

A better idea than your TDKR ending.

Are you listening to yourself ma boy? You know I'm right, Mono isn't important, Python sucked after the first four skits (sketches?), and brother? What are you on? And you know I'm right, because I'm the Best in the World.

Okay, this thread suddenly went into the realm of downright awkwardness

Should I post the video of the Philosopher's Drinking Song again?

That 'ending' was a joke, incorporating Infinite Crisis. Did the lack of emoticons make that difficult for you (and others) to understand?
