xD I'm not sure, it could be like some of the comics, she leaves him for dead with Bane, is about to leave with thousands in value of stolen crap then realises she must help him.

It was all too drag it out but like Joker once said, the way to fool the worlds greatest detective is to have the answer right 'In front of his pointy nose'

Yeah, unless some Gotham celebrities were on an intravaneous feeding tube diet craze at the time.
Kind of like how Clark grew his hair long, and when asked if people would notice Superman did the same, he was like, "Nah! Everyone's rocking a ponytail or mullet these days!"

Eh...that's a bit much, though. The Joker was thinking more...metaphorical.
But like Jim said, Bruce wasn't at his best when he discovered the truth.
AzBats, on the other hand, had a while to figure it out.
I did like the way Bane got off Venom after that confrontation, though. The move from conquering Batman to conquering himself was cool.

Yup, who knows, maybe the Joker will make a cryptic appearance? Not in face, only through reference. I also hope Bane says 'Clown' in spanish ;D

Yeah, I understand, but seeing a couple of tubes leading right back into someone's skull, and point blank being told it was how Venom is supplied to Bane's bloodstream was a bit of a give away. Plus, Bruce's own experience with Venom should have given him some insight.

Just a general question here: Why do so many people hope that John Blake becomes Batman? If that happens, I think it will ruin the whole trilogy for me.
Yeah, and there's still no reason why he should call Jean Paul Valley and Tim Drake and give them a heads-up.
For that matter, Tim should have figured it out faster than anyone at the time.
I love Knightfall, but they really went to ridiculous lengths to strain Bruce's relationships at that point.

Part of it, for me, is that I think Batman ought to be a generational character, meaning that the mantle of the Bat passes from one person to another every so often. It makes sense to me for that to happen, and would, I think, help keep the character fresh and relevant to future generations. Inside the structure of the Nolan-verse, I think such a move would be in complete keeping with a lot of the themes that have been developed to this point, not the least being Batman is unkillable because he is more than just a man.

That's a fair assessment, but I just don't like when heroes "pass the mantle". I guess I am just "old school" in that regard. To me Batman is Bruce Wayne. Even Superman thinks so, (Superman to Dick Grayson, "YOU ARE WEARING HIS SKIN!") and who am I to argue with Superman.![]()
