Truthfully, I really didn't even consider that when I first started reading Wonder Woman, as you seem to be implying that Wonder Woman is a book about the Greek mythology religion; if Wonder Woman is in fact a religious title, than that may explain the lowered popularity.
However, I read Wonder Woman, for starters, because she's a fantasy superhero character; showing her getting her powers from the Greek pantheon as a fantasy doesn't bother me; however, you got me in a certain respect in that I generally do try to avoid delving into the text of religions purported to represent other gods and that deny the divinity of Jesus or avoid discussing Jesus; however, those aren't clearly fantasy, so, to delve into them too much, where my loyalties to God can be compromised even to an incidental consideration causes me to refrain from delving into religious text representing (or claiming the existence of) other gods; it's a sacred rule which I can't play with even mentally.
