I'd forgotten all about that series (it was the only Crossgen title I ever bought). Yes, that would make a great omnibus. I read the original, but skipped over the mini because I recall Waid saying it was a reboot. It didn't sound all that interesting. Regardless, a great run that I'd buy.

It'll be just my luck if, of all eligible omnibuses, they bizarrely reprint the Punisher after I've spent more than a hundred bucks buying the relevant issues.

I think the greatest possiblity for a new reprint would be FF Omni 1 and 2, Uncanny X-men Omni. They do have movies coming out within a few years. Also they gotta be putting out an Uncanny X-men Vol 2 Omni within a year or so to coincide with the movie and finally reprint Days of Future Past in OHC. That would make the most sense.

Yes, it makes the best business sense for Marvel.

Spider-Man Volume 1 also gets added in as there will be another movie and hopefully a Volume 3 from the Silver Age.

I believe the Daredevil movie rights reverted back to Marvel since Fox did not get a movie going. A Marvel reboot could easily get the Miller Daredevil Omnibuses reprinted.

We have been expecting this for YEARS and it STILL hasnt happened. At this point I have pretty much accepted that it is not coming and will just surprised when it does.

Wait, they're JUST NOW talking about this?! Not to be that guy, but does no one even think about this line anymore? Any one looking at Ebay or any message board related to Omnibuses would be able to deduct in a heartbeat that old OOP omnibuses are always in high demand (well, some of them, at least). Okay, rant over.

Yes, I would LOVE to replace my current Miller omnibus with sewn bindings. If the quality is equivalent to the recent Iron Man and X-force omnibus Ill be ok with it.

But hoping for a reprint as we have seen has been pretty disappointing.

Haha. That's exactly what I thought. They're just now looking into it? What's going on over there? Maybe he just meant we are revisiting it this week....hopefully.

OK guys, I have went ahead and started part 6 of the omnibus thread. I will update the main page in due time.

When the MODs are ready they can close this thread and make the new one the official one.
