Here is my amazon.com review of the G.I. Joe Complete Collection Vol 1 if anyone is interested.
Added a "helpful review" as well.

I saw this at my LCS, but it was snagged as I was walking towards it. (By someone who I swear is the real-life version of the Simpson's Comic Book Guy...)

Expecting a minuscule print run on that one. Also debating the Deathlok Michael Collins DM variant. I've heard good things abut it but never read it for whatever reason and I've been on a Deathlok kick recently. Picked up his MMW HC a couple weeks back.
Cool. Im getting the signed copy at Amazon cuz Im not from US so no chance to go to comic cons...

Was it one of you guys?
Wait, one can lose cuz of star ratings?

Yeah. And worse, Consequences wont be released in HC! Oh well... AVX, AVX vs., and point one issues + variants, would be cool in oversized pages as you said!

Are those prices in the picture above in American dollars? Because those prices suck! 65 for the Inferno companion!?! 450 for DD!

Ever? Yes, there are moments when they are not the cheapest.

But generally 50% off on release day is a pretty good deal and its such a good deal that it is typically the best time to take advantage of buying.
My review of Absolute Dark Victory

If I were a MOD I would ban anyone who uses the stupid word "omniboo."

Probably because it's the variant edition.

Money that the seller is probably not going to make anytime soon, given those prices.

Even the variant is only going for around $50 on eBay, though. His prices are just out of whack.

Right, but I'm sure in the seller's mind, variant automatically equals more expensive. Although this does remind me that I really need to read the Acts of Vengeance omnibuses.
