So far I've ended up ordering Revolver and New York Four (having previously read NY5), and the library has a copy of Incognegro. I also picked up the first trade of Young Liars and Milligan's Human Target from the library as well. As a Chaykin fan, I want to get Pulp Fantastic, but it's a pain trying to track it down.

Industrial Gothic by Ted McKeever. A brilliant series that might be kinda hard to find (only available in single issues).

+1 for Revolver, I've been tracking down a lot of Matt Kindt's work.

First 12 issues or so. There was just too much weirdness for weirdness sake but its biggest problem is that I didn't care at all about any of the characters.

That's probably enough to like it if you're going to.

I'm curious to why you believe that?

Scalped is one of the most praised comic books of the last few years. How is it under the radar?

I bet he thought you were disrespecting Scalped, when you were clearly highlighing the fact that Scalped gets plenty of praise.

Scalped is indeed awesome. Wildly inconsisten art, but in this case, its not for the art that I read Scalped.
"You can't trust them as poets either. The true poet is anonymous, as to his habits, but these boys have to look, act, and apparently smell like poets"

Well, I could be critical of Scalped, but it would no more disrespectful to the series than Jason Aaron is to American Indians.

I am generally curious as to what you mean by this? So as not to hijack this thread any further, I started a new thread over here .

iZombie was definitely underated. It just ended its 28 issue run.I hope we haven't seen the last of the characters: The Dead Presidents really need their own series, and I would like to know what happens next with Gwen now that she's basically become a god and ascended to a higher plane of existence.
Thus do I write the first chapter of my new scripture. And the first verse is "Let it all burn."

I also really enjoyed American Virgin. It's definitely not something everyone will like though.

Agreed on this. It started great and then it's like the writer forgot what he was writing about and got lost in his scripts. The last half of that was just a painful mess to read.
