Michael Keaton has been cast as the Head of Omnicorp. The script may allegedly suck but the casting is excellent.

I'm still enthused. No matter what happens it can't be any worse than Robocop 3 or the heavily-diluted tv series.

That's the only negative thing I have about this reboot, I like the design of RoboCop, and hope to love this film

I am obsessed with the idea of completely erasing Spider-Man from every Marvel continuity

Speaking of Keaton and Weller, most of us know that Weller was originally gonna be Batman before Keaton took over.

And now Weller got to play Batman in Dark Knight Returns parts 1 & 2.

Wondering the same thing, and it strikes me as odd as well. Seems like it would get shot off almost immediately.
I have this idea for the next X-teme Games Gold Medal Event--Bear Tickling. Its like Bull riding but more X-treme! You are timed on how long you can tickle a bear before he attacks you.

I'm guessing that the human hand is so he can actually fire a gun. If you look at the left, gloved, hand there is no way that Robocop could use it to pull a trigger.
Mind you, if I'm correct, it does raise a fairly obvious question: Why not just give him a black leather glove to cover it? (Or did the budget not stretch that far?).

Robocop can use both hands to shoot, and does so. He has two guns, one coming from each leg.
