I am fine with the Scarlet Witch being either Hope or Fongji.
We have seen hints and also blatantly told that the two are intrinsically related, most notably in Avengers vs. X-Men and in The Life and Times of Lucas Bishop. Hope was created in spite of, and in response to, the Scarlet Witch's eruption in House of M.
The Phoenix Force represent order with Hope as its primary avatar, while the Scarlet Witch is the avatar of chaos, represented by her Hex Field. They share a cyclical relationship, always set forth to create and destroy as a cosmic ouroboros.
How we end with the result of the new Scarlet Witch being Hope is a mystery, but it would stand to reason that the two combine. We know already from solicitation that the two will fight each other, but then join together to right the wrongs brought on by the events beginning in Disassembled.
Meanwhile, somewhere in the distance, Layla Miller, who should represent nature in the conflict of chaos and order, goes completely neglected and ostracized from the story.

If it is Hope, then it explains why Rogue is there: she's Hope's slave.

I definitely want to read more Hope and Rogue. It's too bad they didn't hang out more in Gen Hope.
F**K YOU ARCHITECTS, AND F**K YOU, MARVEL COMICS!
Hope as NuJean didnīt work, so they are going to turn her into NuWanda...what the f**K? You canīt make a new character interesting, so you leech the popularity of old, established, cherished characters, and create a frankensteinian monstrousity trying to trick the fans into liking her? Why donīt you just try for once to create a good character with a good story?
Hey, I have a good idea? Why donīt you make X-23 the new Captain America? Or you could give the Patriot kid Wolverineīs claws! Yes, the stupid fans will fall for it!.

I had to add the part about Layla Miller, and how she should have or could have represented nature in the triumvirate, which is to say it is a shame she is shuffled away in a book that does not come very close to the event she was essentially made for.
This is another interesting point. Mystique, Rogue, and Hope have a relationship that is close, yet largely unspoken of. There is foundation and nuance, and it would be a great service by the writer who revisits this.
