Really? I'll check it out, I dropped this a while back, if this issue is an improvement I might start reading it again.

I would recommend getting #10 as well, since it was the first part to this particular arc.

Yes that was a great line and great to see that the building back up of Batgirl's psyche is now more or less complete apparently. Lol, at least we now know where Bab's purple cape mysteriously vanished to between issues #7 & #8, Knightfall took it! And is it just me or does Knightfall at least initially (haven't seen her face yet) visually look like a cross between Azrael & Spoiler:

Mind you I'm just referring to a visual mosh, nothing about one being another, etc.

Yeah it's good to see her get out of her funk- but I did enjoy the dynamic of building her up. Now let's see what she can do!

The whole "different me" monologue felt a bit forced.

And didn't we already establish the bad guys were vigilantes and wanted to recruit Babs at the end of the last issue, so I'm not sure why Babs was surprised when they mentioned it again.

It's this thing done in comics called recapping, comics are a medium that is broken up into once a month (every 30 days) installments. Recapping is used to remind readers of what occurred last issue as well as to give a jumping on point for a new reader who did not read the previous issue. Almost all scripted tv shows use this technique when giving flashback scenes from previous episodes at the start of their programs and stating, "Previously on...."

I had similar thoughts. When a Batman fan hears "Knightfall" he thinks of Azrael then the look is very similar. There must be at least an inspirational link between the 2.
