I'm doing my own redesign of Cheetah, but I don't know much about her MO other than her origin.

Is she a full-time villian, or is she still an archaeologist?

Maybe the Cheetah's alter ego is Diana's friend on the Apache reservation. A totem or something gives her cheetah powers, makes her younger and completely changes her personality, turning her from Diana's friend to her foe whenever she's under its influence.

Could be. But I'm confused. Will this story be taken place in the past? I mean, in JL, Cheetah already had an appearance.

This is how I would design her. She looks more like a cheetah, and I think she looks intimidating while still being a classy.

Unfortunately she tends to come off as just a furry cat lady especially to people who haven't read her stories.

Her character is definitely underdeveloped, which is a great opportunity for current writers. Power-wise, as others have mentioned, she's a real threat. Not only does she have speed and strength, she should have insane agility and her power source is magical. All that makes her an incredibly well-rounded fighter. That's probably why WW's rope is the most effective weapon against her. The best way to stop her is to get her tangled up.

Character-wise, I think she could represent an extreme sense of selfishness better than any other villain. She's a top predator with insatiable desire and self-interest. A man-eater in every sense of the word which is a fitting foil to Wonder Woman's compassion. There's also a background foil in that Cheetah is a worldly traveler as an archaeologist, much like the animal who roams the great plains of Africa, whereas Wonder Woman grew up sheltered among Amazons, an artifact of the Ancient world.

As a Character Cheetah Does not stand out at all And I hope now they make her a Credible Threat to Wonder Women Because I remember When People Used to One-shot her multiple times. Give Her a Definitive Origin and Keep it to One Cheetah For awhile and Actually Giver HEr a Bit of a Character Besides Having Issues with Wonderwomen. I would Love to See wonder womens Rouges Gallery to actually get built up and be given some damn development because they haven't The only one most people even know anymore Is Circe and that is Because of Justice League Unlimited

Maybe, tying in with the whole Third Army thing in GL, Hal is "dead" during the time of this JL arc, and J'onn has been taking his place this entire time. Further maybe Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman know it and kept it from the rest of the League. The fallout of all this is supposed to help lead into the Trinity War at least, so it might make sense to have something like this go down with already has the Trinity in a suspicious light with the rest of the League.

Of course this doesn't take into account Hal's haunting memories and seeing his father's ghost. But just an idea in any case.

When I first saw this I didn't like it because she's bald headed, but the more I look at it the more I dig it. The face, jewelry and swimsuit are tight.

I like your breakdown of Cheetah and how to portray her opposite WW. I would like if she was in complete control of powers being able to change at will from her human form to her Cheetah form. It would add a layer of of evil to her if she was the famous archaeologist to the world and secretly a savage villain to the Justice League and WW.

The Cheetah that they're using is Minerva, right?

I'm glad to see Cheetah's getting the Geoff Johns treatment. IMO he's at his best when he's writing villain.
