Default Gotye- Lead Chorus done by Sting?

I've been listening to this song on the radio called Somebody that I used to know By Gotye. Is the main chorus done by Sting?

No, but others have mentioned the similarity.

An awesomely funny and sadly true parody of the Gotye song: The Star Wars I Used to Know:

Not a great song but The similarity of Stings voice made me take interest.

Huh. The 5 billion times i have heard that song and I never thought of the Sting comparison. Of course, I have blocked all post-Police Sting from my memory.
"There's not much of a difference between a stadium full of cheering fans and an angry crowd screaming abuse at you. They're both just making a lot of noise. How you take it is up to you. Convince yourself they're cheering for you. You do that, and some day, they will. And that's how Sue Cs it."- Sue Sylvester, "Glee"

    Sad.

But the Police Sting fits, as well, with the song's island sound and high-pitched vocals.

It has the same core progression as The Police song does.

I hate this damn song, it's overplayed

The opening reminds me of XTC's "Senses Working Overtime."

I could (and still do) play that stuff constantly. So bring me more.

And I like the Kimbra assist.

Are you saying you couldn't care less if the Russians love their children, too? That's very insensitive of you.
