New JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Anime In the Fall

Despite its popularity in Japan, JoJo was the longest running (and still running) manga to not have an anime adaptation. I say was because it looks like at long last there will be an anime this fall. I've only read through the end of part 3 so far but I'm so pumped for this. So we got any JoJo fans here?

Jojo did have an anime (1 and a half animes, IIRC), though only for part 3.

Which part are they covering this time? I'd love to see Jonothan's, Joseph's or maybe Joleyne's stories.

Technically that was an OVA

We don't really have any details yet. But hopefully it starts from the beginning and covers as much as they can.

Did not see this teaser earlier. Hopefully that Jonathan Joestar was animated is indication that they will start with Phantom Blood.

They already released a teaser for the Phantom Blood anime in 2007 I think.

Don't know if came out yet though.

Jojo remains one of the greatest institutions of manga and I'd like to see it get more anime.

This was a movie. However it was so bad that Araki refused to let it go to dvd.

Really? What was bad about it? Animation looks pretty sweet and Phantom Blood is pretty hard story to fuck up.

The teaser makes me think that its just going to be Jonathan's story.... which might be a shame, since I would like to see the 2nd, 5th, or 6th arcs myself.

To be fair, if they're testing out the water to see if it'll be popular enough, part 1 and 3 are probably the best to use.

An anime adaptation of Part II would have Ultimate Cars in it.

So... how would they illustrate his IQ of 4000 and his vision that is "like a space telescope,"?
