I might have to check this out. I liked one of the other Monkeybrain issues that came out, and am thinking of going more Indie at the moment.

After reading four of the five Monkeybrain books, I'd say this was my favorite with Edison Rex coming in at second. Aesop's Ark was a good, sweet story with gorgeous art that has an amazing page midway through the story that I did not expect in the slightest and should not be spoiled. Oh and of course it cost less than a dollar! So worth it.

The preview made me really interested but I hope they print it soon...
The art was absolutely lovely and the story was sweet and simple. I think this was the most satisfying single-issue read of the Monkeybrain launch, but I'd be lying if I said I was more excited for the second issue of this compared to Bandette, October Girl and Edison Rex.
Still, Monkeybrain, what a fantastic launch lineup.
