Okay, Keith Giffen is doing a six issue run.

I'm SOMEWHAT appeased here, people. SOMEWHAT! :)

    So Giffen is co-writing it?

Co-plotting it, from the interview, but Levitz is doing the actual writing.

Even as Giffen 'co plots' things, he has little bits of dialog that he contributes, so I'm hopeful...

Kevin's got some very inspired pieces; he's got one little moment of fan service that comes out in another issue in a week or so that I think will have everyone smiling. It was his neat little addition to the moment.
Hmm...I wonder if he's talking about this moment in this week's issue?

Well I'm looking forward to the #0 issue even though Braniac 5 isn't one of my top favorite members, he's still cool enough to get me pumped up for this issue. Also, Keith Giffen helping Levitz out is kind of cool. Like many have said in other threads, maybe it's time to freshen things up a bit (though I've loved the title so far) and even though Levitz is still writing it maybe it'll be a bit different since he's got a co-plotter involved. Also, it appears as if we're getting a new artist on this book? Either that or it's just for the #0 issue, I couldn't really tell.....unless I missed something in the interview.

I've learned a lot about writers in the New 52; one liked and didn't like. After reading Levitz stuff in the New 52, I've learned that I don't like his writing at all. He might have some interesting characteristic choices, but the stories move at a snails-pace. I actually get bored when reading his comics. Were in an age where there needs to be MORE in the comics were reading, but this guy puts in less.
I think I'm done with World's Finest. I only got it because I'm a fan of the Power Girl character, but the story is too slow and the art is sloppy. Wish any of his books were better.

As a fan of Levitz, I think this is a fair critique to make. I think his approach works better on Legion because he does a fair amount of world building there, which I quite like--this isn't necessarily a strength on Worlds' Finest....

That's true. I levitz overall, but I think his writing is a little dry, it reads much better in trade.

Can we PLEASE have some Legion stories about someone other than the same 5 characters that Levitz has been shoving on us ever since he came back to the book. The Legion is more than just B5, Mon-El, Ultra Boy, Cosmic Boy and Dream Girl.
Thankfully there's Legion Lost where they actually have the cool legionnaires.

    A) Levitz has been making an effort to introduce new Legion charactes lately. And B) you can NEVER have to many Ultra-Boy stories.

I'm loving it because it's Levitz on Legion, but it is a little sad to see that its history (after getting it back more or less intact after Infinite Crisis) has changed as much as them having never met the Fatal Five before. Still, the Legion and the Earth-Two books are some bright spots in the new 52...
