Alonso and Brevoort talk Bendis X-Men replacing Uncanny?

This is some bad news...not only do we lose Gillen, we're forced to go to either an Avengers team with a couple X-Men on it, or a Bendis X-book with the 1960's original five?

I'm not saying we need 5 titles of just X-Men teams (or do we?), but the X-Universe is too vast and extensive to be shoved into a couple Avengers book like so much riff-raff. The X-Verse needs at least two full time (Blue/Gold though not necessarily in the same construct) teams functioning at the same time to give all the great characters their do, not to mention the X-Children.

Won't someone PLEASE think of the children?!?

Thats what i want to know. What becomes of X-Men, Xmen legecy, Astonishing x-men, or Wolverine and the x-men since uncanny x-men becomes All New X-Men

When/if All New X-Men reaches a cumulative number of 64 issues (combined with Uncanny Vol. 2), it will revert back to 'Uncanny' to celebrate issue number 600.

and hopefully it'll be
Bendis's swan song for that book, if it lasts that long, hell it's been 8 going on 9 years since I've read Avengers, I may pop back in on the X-Men at 600 then.

It would've made more sense if it was celeste. Phoebe is the most hardcore of all of the cuckoos currently. It probably WAS Celeste and she was sad that no one could tell the difference.

Maybe it means it merely branches... Afterall, Avengers isnt cancelled with New Avengers around.

Avengers was canceled for several years due to New Avengers.

Yeah, though soon after it came back(as Mighty first). And was he talking about the past or the current issues? Anyway, rest assured it will be back. And I doubt there will only be 1 X-Book in 616.

Oh and any news though about Uncanny X-Force? Where it all fits in?

It doesn't really matter which he was talking about. No one cares about Uncanny divorced from Gillen, and we already know he's gone.

I think that's the first time anyone's said that.

I'd expect no less than for Iceman to be the conduit of Bendis' best patter. This just gets better!

Yeah, the last fifteen issues of Uncanny have been awesome. Gillen was doing an amazing job developing the characters, especially Colossus as the Juggernaut. I'm really curious about what will happen to the Colossonaut with Uncanny being canceled. If X-Force gets re-launched its a great loss as well but it depends on what the new direction is I guess. I'd love to have the new Brotherhood they're building up in X-Force to show up in other X-Series.

At least X-Factor won't be changing all that much.
