JLA/Avengers has my two favorite teams, one of my favorite writers, one of my favorite artists, and a boatload of characters, so it's a no-brainer.
However, the original Superman/Spider-Man also deserves a mention (didn't like much the second one, though), as do Teen Titans /X-Men, Superman/Hulk and the Bagley Batman/Daredevil.
I'm a sucker for some gorgeous Jose Luis Garcia Lopez art, so Batman?Hulk gets a pass from me.

    Peace

Spider-Man/Superman 2 -- Because Big John Buscema drew such a nice Superman.
Batman/Hulk -- Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez drew a very good Hulk.
The Hunger -- Darkseid/Galactus -- Great story, great art, great characters.
X-Men/New Teen Titans -- Great story, great art, great characters.
Superman/Spider-Man 1 -- It was such a shock when it came out. Never thought something like that could happen.

    Batman/Hulk and X-Men/Teen Titans.

I also have a fondness for the second Superman/Spider-Man story, where if memory serves Clark Kent went to work for the Daily Bugle and Peter Parker for the Metropolis paper.

I know it's crazy how Clark and Peter switched jobs and having different bosses with a sourpuss like JJ and a nicer boss like Perry.

Did you know JLA/Avengers was 20 years in the making? it finally came to be in 2003 after 20 years of waiting.

Yeah, one of the flashback panels in #3 with the JLA/Avengers face-off was an homage to the original plot.
Johnny Storm was dead; who is this resurrected Johnny Storm?

JLA/Avengers - great writing by Kurt Busiek and excellent art by George Perez.

Indeed Busiek is one of my favorite writers as much as George Perez with Buscema and Garcia are such unique artists

I have two favourites. Avengers/JLA and the first Batman/Daredevil story.

This, really liked the story BTW; considering I never really followed either book.

True. If there was a logical mirror-image to Batman at the time, it would've been Daredevil.

As far as Hulk and the Shaper of Worlds, who would've been the logical yang to both? Green Lantern maybe?

Yeah, there was a picture with the (early) 1980's lineups of both the Avengers and the Justice League of America face-to-face. Then I guess company fighting got in the way of the JLA/Avengers crossover of the 80s taking place.

I gotta admit: The one duo I would've loved to have seen at least a couple of panels would've been Zatanna and Doctor Strange. That would've been epic.

    ED, you have wonderful taste!
I also am a fan of JLA/Avengers and my fave is the Byrne Bat/Cap crossover. I absolutely love the scene where Bruce and Steve first meet alter ego to alter ego. Plus you get a Skull/Joker team up as well. That is downright sinister.

Batman/Captain America. I'm a fan of stories set in WWII and of Byrne. I just wish this story would have stayed in canon.
