Hmm... anybody else get a DEVILISH feeling from this Adam Blake? Anybody else figure he's an alter-ego of Satannus, much like Tee-Too-taller?

Could make sense, that he's trying to undermine Superman in all sorts of ways, even by usurping his role as the first Superhero.

DCnU Captain Comet , aka Earth's First Superman, sure looks like a villain in that cover.

Btw, Chiang's variant cover looks gorgeous in my opinion.

Maybe I don't have an eye for comic art, but his stuff is the most boring art to me. It honestly reminds me of an artist just learning how to draw superheroes.

I'm a Chiang fan myself but, yeah, I don't think that's his best work. IMO, neither is his WW stuff - it's nowhere near as clean as his GA/BC or Dr Thirteen artwork which I thought was gorgeous and I'd recommend to those who haven't been impressed by him lately.
