Exactly. DC used their relaunch to change their landscape. Creating opportunities for a diversity of titles to exist. Marvel seems to just be doing the same thing they've been doing, I don't see what has changed.

I am worried that is the case as well. I don't want to judge too much until I hear the announcements, but relaunching already-existing titles doesn't seem to help much in terms of genre or female/minority diversity.

Why bother when they can just ignore it? It seems to be Marvel's policy when it comes to MC2 anyway.

I think Tom Breevort said on Twitter or somewhere that of the 20-21-22 books in the NOW Initiative, only 1 or 2 will be brand new (and Uncanny Avengers already took 1 spot). Most of the titles will be relaunches, although they could have new casts etc.

As much as I would love to see some New Warriors action.. i'd only wanna see the original roster make a comeback and that doesn't seem likely as some are dead and some are really dead.. though a Speedball and Rage roadtrip thru the backwaters of the Marvel universe would be hilarious..

and I'm impressed with the amount of Darkhawk love being tossed around on these boards.. awesome job internet people.. what a great little book that was, i'm so glad he's getting some belated but much deserved love on 'teh internets' now.
