Off to a good start, I'd guess a 135-145 opening week from Tuesday to Sunday.

Well, that goes against what I thought it would due to the negative reviews.

I'm not disappointed. As much as I'm sort of so-so on it, I hope it does well.

I really want to see a movie with the Scorpion. That'd be a good way of introducing J. Jonah Jameson, as well.

Well, no. Avengers was a MONSTER hit (pun intended)...the only movie that will come close or even potentially beat it is DKR.

The majority of the reviews seemed positive.

Also maybe Hobbit if we are including non-summer movies and are talking internationally.

Did you honestly expect it to?
Spider-Man 3 left a bad taste in a lot of peope's mouth. This will do quite well but not anywhere near Avengers or TDKR

Are we sure they're only including midnight screenings? And not the 8 o'clock screenings and other times it was open yesterday across the US and Canada?
