Yeah, I saw this. Looks like there are going to be a bunch of event crossovers after the zero issues. They still haven't announced the Justice League one or the Swamp Thing and Animal Man one. I wonder if there'll be any more.

DC is sure doing their level best to stop me from buying comics altogether...

IMHO Green Lantern is one of DC's absolute coolest concepts but while the strongest GL's are able to embrace strong willpower and do amazing things a certain company *whistles* seems to be losing both their own willpower AND their imagination

I wish Ganthet could get his personality back, reveal this story is in a giant corrupted GL book as lousy fiction created as a fantasy by a crazed Lantern or Lantern fan then burn the thing and bring the cool GL stories back

Right now I get 2 GL books, the main title and Green Lantern: New Guardians.

I wonder if this story will make me drop both of them

I've been enjoying the buddy cop feel of Sinestro/Hal, hope they don't shuffle them off for too long. I will admit that I'm part of the group on here that's a bit sick of the "Guardians as villains" thing, and I am hoping for a return of the old Ganthet. And I wouldn't mind the rest of them being revealed as mind-controlled or influenced in some way (I like them as the clueless little blue men who are more alien and stand-offish than authoritarian and evil).

A bit surprised with the Kyle push, as Johns has done little but marginalize him since Rebirth (understandably to reestablish Hal, but as a fan of the character it's been a tad disappointing). I hope this isn't the build-up to some "noble sacrifice", I've been enjoying the New Guardians title quite a bit.

I'm still very concerned about the fates of both John and Hal. Looking at the picture you can note that John seems to be shoved in the background way behind Guy

And Hal doesn't appear on the cover at all with his apparent hooded arm-tattooed replacement being the most prominent character in that pic

So I'm fearing that either John, Hal or both of them may be used as fodder to prop up the amazing new hooded tattooed GL

It makes sense to me why Hal isn't on the cover because he still isn't technically a Lantern.. but I don't get why Sinestro isn't. Anyone have ideas?

So what, you get two books right now despite that you don't seem to enjoy them, seeing as you regard them as lacking imagination? And it wouldn't be a bigger loss of imagination to suddenly Deus Ex Machina the entire thing as you suggested?

But hey, guess I shouldn't have been surprised to click into this thread to see people already complaining.

He's aware about the Guardians' plan to replace the Corps, so it's understandable why he wouldn't really be at their side.

"their first objective is to eliminate Lanterns of any color"
This seems like a very unfortunate phrase to describe their goal lol

It's about time the Lanterns move to take out the guardians. I mean they've messed with the Lanterns and the Universe as a whole for so long it's ridiculous.

Side note...and something that I've always wondered and it hasn't been answered yet...Didn't a bunch of guardians die during Blackest night? Then why does it seem none of them did? It looks like there are the same amount of guardians now then there always was.

I'm only picking up New Guardians and I don't plan to pick up the rest for the crossover. I'm guessing the third army are the white zombie beings behind the lanterns?
