Uncanny Avengers sounds cool although very typical of current Marvel. I'm on board though for Remender writing Rogue and Havok.

Avengers - Bi weekly at $3.99. No thanks. Plus I prefer my Avengers teams to be a team not an army. That being said. I do have faith in Hickman to pull this off and make for an enjoying book. AT least the trades will come faster.

X-Men - God no. Sounds ridicculous. With Bendis writing as well. Double no.

Relying on CBR users for your info? Really? This is journalism?? You could've just waited for the official announcement. It's coming in a few hours.

I don't get why they point out the bi-weekly for Avengers? Aren't most of Marvel's titles bi-weekly these days? Unless that means that they will cut down the double-shiping titles. *praying*
When I heard about Marvel's relaunch and the return of Jean I was happy, but if she is in this Uncanny Avengers with this roster I don't think I'll like it. Althought I'll give the whole relaunch thing a chance as I did with DC and that paid off.

I hope this means they use the New Avengers title for the Avengers Academy/Young Avengers kids now. Now sure what the point of Avengers Assemble will be now. Plus I wonder if Secret Avengers will stick around too.

So, fans speculaute on the forum, CBR sells it as news, and fans speculate more in response? Rinse and repeat? See, this must be why I'm not a professional journalist; I would never have such brilliant ideas.

Uncanny Avengers - Remender - SOLD (although Cyke on a team with the teenage version of his ex wife sounds a bit creepy)
Avengers - Hickman - SOLD - Hickman + large cast + large arcs = Gold
All New X-Men - Bendis - Meh, I will give it a shot but the excitement I had for him working on an X-Book has sort of deflated at the concept.

The original post-Siege plan was Bendis on a bi-weekly Avengers, but logistically it wouldn't have worked, so they went for an Avengers / New Avengers split book. You can see some of that in the way some of the Avengers / New Avengers arcs almost crossed over. So this isn't such a massive change. As Sabrewulf points out, though it's a lot of money.

Uncanny Avengers - Remender is clearly a definite pull, but I'm worried what this does to his Secret Avengers AND Uncanny X-Force. Can we expect him to stay on all three?

All New Bendis X-Men. Man, that's an interesting concept. The internet is going to explode on this one. Even if just for the Old Bobby / New Bobby shipping fanfic. I'll get the first arc just to see it all go off.

It just so turns out that I too have acquired a copy of this Entertainment Weekly magazine, and would like to share some snippets from it.

Quesada - "At Marvel, we appreciate the loyalty and dedication of our fans and greatly value their opinions. That's why, as part of Marvel's ReEvolution promotion, we are introducing several exciting new initiatives that will revolutionize, nay re-evolutionize, the comics industry forever!

"We understand that in this difficult economy, comics readers want the get the most value possible from every penny they spend. Taking a nod from the distinguished competition, we are happy to announce that starting this September, Marvel will be "holding the fort" at $3.99 for our entire line of monthly titles! I'm sure that our loyal customers will make this a great success that can be carried on for the forseeable future.

"Following in the footsteps of our successful `Women of Marvel' campaign, we are happy to announce a new line of `Asians of Marvel' one-shots and miniseries highlighting your favorite Asian and Asian-inspired superheroes of the Marvel Universe, including Iron Fist, Psylocke, and more!"

Can't seem to find a scanner at the moment....

And, neither of those two are actually Asian. I know that he was talking about "Asian-inspired", but that's just a poor choice for examples.

I would be excited about this if Marvel hadn't dropped the lousy Jean Grey tease into the mix. I mean time travel? That's how they're bringing her back? I'm sorry, but that's just asinine. If it's X-men First to Last II then why not advertise it as such? Why throw another Jean Grey ruse into the mix? It makes no sense other than to upset Jean Grey fans and make another excuse for not bringing her back. Although someone did post a picture of the article on Twitter. This is the rest of the picture.

So, this reboot which is not a reboot, nor a relaunch too, is also not the MARVEL NEW 52...

So, except the stupid concept from the Lobotomized House of Ideas, what's new??? Bendis on X-Men? YURK!!!!!!!!!! When will they frag Bendis and its likes to the trash???

Man, Marvel is no more THE Marvel I have known and loved...

Bleeding Cool has the name of the relaunch, the name of the Bendis Xbook and the full details from Entertainment Weekly, rather than a rewritten version....

Wouldnt it be amusing if young Bobboy turned out to be gay. Old Iceman would be like wtf.... Wouldnt put that past Bendis either.

Relaunching Avengers and X-Men again. Marvel is getting really bad with the title re-starts and renumbering. "Hey guys! we just hit issue 17, we need to restart this for a #1!!!" It's just really convoluted and unnecessary.

As for the books themselves, I don't know. I'll pick up Avengers to check it out, not sold on the other two.
