    Technically Data did dodge the phaser itself the first shot. He moved after the thing had fired.
    Mind you, I am not saying that is a legitimate feat, but that was how it was shown, heh.

    I was kind of hoping for the Balrog to win this, despite Data being a childhood favorite character in a TV Show.
    Makes one wonder exactly how fast they really wanted Data to be portrayed as..
