What we know:
1. It's a classic villain
2. It's Snyder's "favorite"
Oh, and then there's this:
Umm... never mind, I guess mystery solved?

Elementary Dear FHIZ, elementary.
You see it is a simple matter of Tony Daniel. Initially stating that he would be explaining the Joker after Detective 12, his absence to possibly work on a new series, maybe Trinity War, it is a big project, only Scott Snyder can take on Hush with a Man with a familiar appearance going in as the mayor for Gotham City. Who is "a Man", why dear FHIZ, "a Man" is not a man, but the Man Who Laughed.
I'll be legitimately kind of shocked if it's not the Joker, yeah. Snyder even admitted in some interview that it was kind of obvious who it was.
Yeah, it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that it's Joker, which is awesome. When was the last time Joker was actually the main villain of an arc rather than just a side one? Hoping for a face-related Hush appearance as well.
Call me A.J.
Hawkeye, Batman Inc., Batman, Daredevil, The Amazing Spider-Man, All New X-Men, Avengers, New Avengers, Fantastic Four, FF, Thor: God of Thunder, Detective Comics.
I was really hoping for a nice long Bane arc. Really reintroducing him to the DCNU. a more in depth retelling of Knightfall, maybe not to the point of breaking the Bat, but just a systematic gauntlet driving Bruce to his limits and then a nice fight. I'm tired of Bane being a background/side character.
Yeah I agree, Bane I think is an underrated rogue. I know that's contestable since he's notorious for breaking Batman's back, but I say underrated because he rarely gets credit for being intelligent and cunning the way he should be. It would be great to get a more proper portrayal of him again, and hopefully TDKR brings all eyes to him in the comics too.
No, I get that. I just want him to be on top of things again. I didn't really pay that much attention to Dark Knight bc it was such a horrible idea, every time I checked in on it it didn't seem to be that good. I have just been hoping that since he is the Movie villain they would reintroduce him in the comics in all his bada$$, over the top intelligent glory. I just want me a good long Band story again. Not to mention Greg Capullo did a really bada$$ Bane print for a con last year and I want to see him do hi in the comics.
Man, it'd be so great to see Snyder do a Joker arc. Can't wait to see how the Court of Owls are involved/caused his origin!
Comics were happier before the Internet turned writing superhero stories into fruitless attempts to impress/entertain a small group of ppl who appear to hate comics and their creators.
Grant Morrison
I'm hoping someone, som time (soon?) gives us an extended, in depth, pop-crime, clue-leaving, brain twisting Riddler story- no psychosis necessary just some clues and cat-and-mouse and Batman actually having to be a detective instead of just a reactionary fighting machine.
Can't wait to see how Capullo draws the Joker, though.
Who wants to save the world? That's what misers do...
Only Batman INC couldn't do a classic rogues story in its current form, and Batwoman, RHatO, and BoP while currently not that sort of book could be redirected to that sort, and all the other Batbooks are already straight up 'Bat-whomever v bad-guy', so the bad guy could easily be Riddler, Bane, etc etc. TDK is tackling Scarecrow, and I suspect it will probably continue to do Rogues stories. Tec was doing that, and post-Daniels, may well continue. I could go on. We can get our fixes for our favourite Batfoes sooner rather than later.
