This just in: Chris Sprouse has pulled out of Orson Scott Card.
One event to rule them all...One event to find them, One event to bring them all and in the summer bind them...
In all seriousness, I wonder if this means the Phoenix is gonna ditch the P5 and somehow latch onto the Avengers?
"There you go, off stealin' my heart."
Current OTP: Gambit x Frenzy
Tear down the false idols. There is no phoenix but Phoenix, and Jean Grey is her messenger.
LOL, Brother Justin Crowe. My thoughts exactly. Although Highlander/Queen is way more appealing.![]()
Reguardless of story quality in these events marvel is really great at marketing them.

I know right. This event sucks, but the marketing, and the discussions make it seem like the event is the best yet. Then you read it and realize that it's really bad. Act 1 was drag out, Act 2 is basically P5 goes evil, Act 3 Wanda gets the Phoenix . Also Cable is killed, and everyone hates both teams, I am calling it.
Ha. Wolverine's hand is so much farther away than all the others...must suck to be that short sometimes.
Looks like Cyclops, Wanda, Logan, Iron Man, Iron Fist, Hope and Pixie (maybe).
i hope one of the avengers gets it and the x-men have to save the day.
So the P5 are gonna turn on each other, I'm curious, being that the Avengers are being imprisoned gonna take the fault for this one? Sounds more like someone wants more power, I'm betting on Cyclops wanting more, considering how much deep faith he's had in this "Messiah" and the Phoenix Force restoring Mutant kind for the get go.
So... since Wanda and Hope fight the last versus, they are the finalists?
Please no. They just brought him back and have killed him in like every major X-event since X-Cutioner's Song. Seriously. After dying in that one, he was brought back and given his own series and kind of came and went for awhile in the X-books in the late 90s. I'm sure they killed him again somewhere in that period but I can't recall for sure because I was in college and not really reading comics regularly then. Then they "killed him" again right before Messiah Complex when he blew up Providence while he was on it, only to see him return in the second act with baby Hope in tow. Then they "killed him" in Second Coming, only to have Loeb reveal that he wasn't dead (yet again) and bring him back in X-Sanction. To simply kill him again would be Marvel basically admitting to the world that they have no creativity left nor any ideas of what to do with him as a character. Which is sad because IMO he's much more interesting and ripe with potential than the majority of their "iconic" characters combined, many of whom are just bankrupt as characters because they've been so whored out and overexposed over the years.
